Without a strong military to protect a nation, you have nothing. That includes any wonderful social programs.
Without a wall to keep out illegals, terrorists, and any destructive force... All the military in the world won't help.

Homesexuality is not Mental illness. Jook's answer was about gender dysphoria, not homosexuality. The DSM, despite being the "official" diagnostic manual, has been contested by a lot of mental health professionals for decades - which is why it is updated (but it is not done often enough).

Well, speaking of brown stuff in a bowl, the North Koreans now have TWO SATELLITES that float above the USA and could launch an EMP attack. There is no greater threat to America than that right now.

I have a lot of Russian friends. They are awesome people, and I hope we never have to find out just how brilliant the Ruskies are. Even drunk, they are more highly educated than the average American. And I can also understand the paranoia of seeing American military bases everywhere in the world, when Russia doesn't have nearly as much projected strength.

I've been to the Stazi prison that Putin ran in Dresden during the Cold War in his KGB days. He can be the most brutal person in the world when he wants to be. We play "chicken" with him in the Baltic Sea to our peril.

The really odd thing is that I respect the leader of Russia more than the leader of the USA now. He is a man of confident integrity, even if his convictions are at odds with Americas interests in some places. He will play Trump like a novice, and walk all over Hillary.
