Even Haley does not go out his way to attack new people the way Glenny has so many times.
Glenny is like a stupid dog that angrily chases and barks at every car passing down the street!

and like that confused canine....never once catches them, or realizes how foolish he looks w the task they've put before him!

but to be fair, glenny only chases the cars he doesn't like. and the one's he does, he tries to kiss up to.

That was a pitiful attack. I appreciate the time and effort put into it. Overall though it was meaningless.

Thanks hoople.

hey glenny...you still talking about insults and attacks? did ya miss this???

Planetguy wrote:yeah, back in the good old days.....when no one insulted anyone (esp YOU!)

glenny, take your sanctimonius, hypocritical, dishonesty and shove it. no one has run more people off of this site than YOU.

and it's been your's and haley's misogyny and buffonery that have run off every woman who's ever come to this site.

you've never been anything but a liar and the number one source of bad vibes and discord around here.
you're fooling no one, and only add to your rep as the (not so) great deceiver w this silly "2015 Piss and Moan About Insults Tour". give it up... you're QUITE bad at that subterfuge and no one has that short of a memory.

speaking of memory, here's an "interesting perspective" from way back when......oh, lookie glenny was making friends and winning people over even then... back in 2010!!! (before i came along and ruined the internet for you!)

i'd say this philbymon had your number and aced it when he called you out for YOUR insults and bad manners.

I get it. You fear for the USA. You let your fear rule you in every issue that seems to come up, & lash out inappropriately at ppl for truly bizarre reasons known only to you, sometimes...no...make that OFTEN.

You're certainly allowed to voice your opinions, but don't expect us all to sit still while you try to scare ppl off when you disagree with them. I think the Stranger guy is an asset to our forum, & I like his music. I'm not gonna join your hate brigade just cuz he brought up a subject that you don't like. I suspect that you have run off other quality ppl.

You can hate me for saying these things if you wish. I like you, Glen, but you don't own this forum any more than any of the rest of us do. Quit trying to run ppl out for being different than you.

if Glen truly does not like you however, he will simply never mention you, or act like you are even participating, and won't ever reply to any of your comments, he really knows how to hurt a person.. consider yourself lucky he at least mentions you :D  :|

Boys

I was at the funeral of my church's musical director this morning. Very sad. Only 47...

That cat was a seriously good player on beaucoup instruments. His favorite was soprano sax and he could wail. I'm actually taking his bass player gig for the Christmas show at his request. His widow on keys and his son on drums. (kid is a human metronome)

I spent a good deal of time with him before he died - very badly messed up from cancer. We talked a lot about this and that, and music. Funny, politics never came up. When you're dying that is the last thing on your mind. There is a lesson there.

So let me get this straight, you guys are arguing in hopes of changing each other's minds? Or just to see who has the sharpest arguments or the best cartoons?

Ain't working. We hurt ourselves when we attack each other. A lot of my friends disagree with me in a big way politically. Should I be unkind to them?

As you guys well know - I'm not buying what you're selling if its left or 'right' wing politics. But I still like you!

That sh*t is small change. People matter. They're gone all too soon.

You are all skilled players - I should think that sort of thing would be more interesting. Any one of you could keep us rolling for months with stories of your musical adventures and learning experiences.

cheers
Talbot

in the last 3.5 hours I have arranged Yod's Lament and just got the wav file converted to mp3 file and soon will be uploaded to yourlisten, it's wild as heck and once again, a rough demo scratch track, and still will be trying to entice players so we can work them up and make money playing shows in New York City, Boston and Philly..LOL .. so jook, don't think their ain't music happening before your eyes, cause there is..

Hoople... Good to se you back Vinny!
Mark please list all your stock insults... If you have an extra 5 or 6 hours to waste. It will save everyone a lot of time.

Dayne, I don't know if you are poking fun at Yod or not... Please be careful. He is an incredible songwriter up there with Carol King, Elton John, Paul Mcartney and so many others. Yod is Ted. He is one of the great musicians that I have been blessed to know. More than dealing with Mark and Vinny...
I hope you don't make any negative remarks about his music!

Aww...that's so nice of you to take up for me, Smithtown.

It was a fitting little diddy he posted, and I'm flattered that he would name it after me. Can't see it working for New York, Boston, or Philly....but it's the first time someone named a song for me.

Thanks Dayne...bless ya real good.

hit the nail on the head there, Talbot. I've been a bit cranky myself for a few weeks. Since my brother died of a meth overdose, I have less patience than before. Hopefully that too will pass.

Jook, I don't understand what you have against some of the excellent artists & songwriters of American pop history...but there's always karaoke. Like you, I came here to get away from the political & religious discussion boards. After trying to avoid that here at first, I finally just jumped in with both feet because I couldn't find many musicians to relate to (See VR discussion). You may not get informed opinions here, but no one holds back what they really think, which I respect even if they're wrong. I prefer talking to people who disagree with me. No shortage of that here!

But really....those topics have historically been the subject of the world's top artists & songwriters. It's the songwriter's job to craft the message for others, actually.

Here's my religious rockabilly contribution to the political songwriter's rhetoric:
