I think this sense of impending doom is just another part of the environment in which we work. It's creepy at times but ultimately, you can only buy so many bullets and beans and you get on with your life.

It does add urgency to it. I'm working in several directions right now and I'm having a pretty good time of it. I really want to complete some projects before whatever's a comin', comes...
Even then - I'm always up for an adventure...

I was just watching the ferals tear Baltimore to pieces. The cops of course are dancing around and tear gassing everyone - but they are not protecting property or civilians. Gun stores being robbed - a very bad sign.

But what are the "gun haters" going to do when it all falls down?

There will be neighborhood gangs going house to house looting just so they can buy food for their families. Do you suppose the gun haters will wish they had a gun when that happens? What will they do face to face with people that would kill them for what little they have?

Will they tell them "That's not nice. You shouldn't point a gun? or say It's not nice to own a gun?

Will they run and chew a slice of bread or a cookie into the perceived shape of a gun and point it at them to scare them away?

What if they want to sexually abuse their family members while they are at it? Will they make a fist, point a finger at the bad guys and threaten them?

Proven: That alone is good enough to get a kid kicked out of school these days. In fact all I mentioned would get a kid expelled.

Scary, huh? I hope there aren't any gun haters in my neighborhood. Cookie guns frighten me, Staring down the business end of a cookie gun might give me a heart attack. )
