What I see...
The take down of America through the RULE of LAW.
Economically, spiritually, and with outright lies from our leaders.
The federal reserve has printed so much phony money for the last 7 years that many of the poor have been hurt severely. Energy a most necessary "EVIL" such as oil, coal, nat gas, have been directly linked to the policy of the federal reserve. THE MINUTE the federal reserve stopped printing trillions of unbacked dollars... ENERGY prices tumbled, the dollar strengthened, and the transfer of wealth slowed. The damage has already been done.
Pipelines, fracking, coal plants and the resources we have to be able to plug an electric into are are being destroyed.
Climate change is being spewed as method to scare and control the general sheep. This was the worst winter I have seen in 45 years. The LI sound was frozen half way across.
In the name of protecting Americans all sorts of agencies have spewed out so many new rules and regulations that... I am having comp problems again, mysteriously, I won't be able to finish this.

vamp, i have to agree w "josh" that at times you can be presumptuous (and more than a little condescending and dismissive).

you seem to labor under the misconception that because someone isn't writing essays about the state of the world here on BM....that they are shallow, superficial, and somehow less worthy.

please consider that those who don't choose to spend their time weighing in on weighty issues here on a message board DO in fact think about them.... and can have more awareness than you give them credit for.

another thing to consider is this campaign to smear and dismiss "josh" as a troll.
first off you and others are presuming he's a recent arrival here. are you really that sure about that?

secondly, as i see it....he has shown none of the behavior that defines a troll. he weighs in on threads both political and musical that interest him, and he contributes well thought out views... as well as cartoons that are always right on point and usually cut w surgical precision.

he has never to my knowledge tried to hijack a thread or derail discussion. quite the opposite truth be told.

the fact that he often uses these cartoons as a quick and to the point rebuttal....hey, i respect and welcome ALL modes of communication. i've seen you commend others for their clever and appropriate use of that form of communication.....but here you find it only worthy of ridicule.

i respect everyone's right to express their opinions (or not) and see no reason to exempt josh from that same courtesy. likewise i think it's presumptuous to sneer at anyone who chooses NOT to weigh in.

we all come to BM for different reasons. i won't presume MINE make me superior to you or anyone else.

I have no samples of my music on my profile. This is a rather bizarre critique that keeps reoccurring. Strange because I have been totally honest about my inability to render music any higher (if that's the proper term) than cassettes. If I could plug a cassette player into an internet machine and get it the webs, I would have done it years ago.

FORUMS upon the Internet where individuals can express open thought and opinion are about to become a thing of the past. Slackers timing was immaculate, his words were wise and his action in leaving, even more so.

BandMix is about to change radically and many will leave and many will be "booted" off. CENSORSHIP is well on its way. In the same way as a hideous smelling Fart announces the imminent arrival of even more hideous defecation ... it seems the recent arrival of a multitude of Trolls announces the full on censorship of BM and the Internet.

I apologise that i have no "cute" pics to post but as some of you no doubt know ... it just is not me. Even if I would have known in the beginning of my thread that all I had to do was to do so in order to "win" over undeserved tolerance and support ... well I still would not have done so.

and what recent "trolls" do you speak of? surely not schmed...he's been here awhile and shown himself to be more than a mere troll. do you refer to "josh" and his other recent aliases??? do you presume he's someone new to this forum???? or instead might he possibly be an old soul who's returned w a new handle to give fodder to those who rub their hands in glee prognosticating about the latest evil deed designed to bring us all to our knees? he sure has gotten under some folk's skin.

nope. josh has my support and DESERVED tolerance because like everyone here....he gets to voice his opinions. regardless of how infuriating they might be to you, glen, or slacker. you say "some have the balls..." clearly josh does and will not be cowed or intimidated. more points.

great advice there re. the TASCAM DR05. i absolutely LOVE mine! great tool...super easy to use and it's quite useful for recording prcts/gigs/pre defecation farts/etc.

josh, i hadn't thought about dressing mine up as a troll. any recs for where i might find some nice DR 05 Troll outfits????

Josh's advice about that Tascam is valid. I used on for a while but forgot how it works!

But I suspect you're smarter than me - I hope so for your sake. So jump on it and you'll be glad you did. (it ain't rocket science and i intend to revisit it myself)

I put two tunes up using it (Mechanized and Sweet Lucille). Not great sound but something beats nothing by a huge factor. Considering I used a cassette copy of a studio tape to get it down to my hard drive and then re-recorded it from there with Tascam.
