Yod, I thank you for your Post. Refreshing and reassuring that there is someone who, contrary to the "prattle" of many, is not worried about their image and is prepared to participate ... someone who does not take every statement as a threat to their dubious "manhood" and "image" and who is confident with who they really are and therefore unthreatened. Paper Dog ... I thank you for your Post as well ... again delightful confirmation that there is intelligent life out there and your words were inspiring, humourou and true ...as usual. The desert offers great solace as well as brutal reality. My wife calls it a "protective blanket". Discussing politics is much like cleaning out the chicken house... it is not a desired activity but unavoidable at times. But after hauling out the droppings and disinfecting the perches one can al least take a shower and feel better having washed off the effects of it all ... unfortunately that does not work will politics. The coming Age if humanity survives will be the beginning of a new golden age I believe. There are many ancient civilizations that confirm this. We are in the last throes of Kali for instance. Most of the accepted "religions" are in agreement with this general premise as well. The belief of Buddha predicts it's end at this time as well. It is very interesting and helps one understand the "futility of man". A simple thought can best be expressed simply ... I do agree but one that is more complex requires more. Also each individual has their own personal way of expression whether music or speech. This reflects much about them, their intellect, breeding and ?qualities. I make no apologies for who or what I am and readily accept others for what they are regardless of if I agree or not. I also do not hesitate to disagree and engage in worthy conversation. Vulgarity is not my preferred mode of expression in music or speech and I find it very distasteful as it usually indicates the "level" of thought of those who use it. Most so called men are really children I am afraid and modern society has allowed them to wallow in this. Also the Slow Kill arrests their mental and emotional development and the effects are beginning to manifest themselves. Most are incapable of being eloquent. Do not believe that others have an "ideology" just because you have one ... it is not a requirement to exist these days. Worldwide financial collapse is almost here now. The dollar will be dead before the end of 2012 and shortly after the Euro crashes everything in the financial world will also. What is happening now I believe is the possible beginning of a new world culture of one sort or another ... or complete and utter extinction for all or most life upon the planet. Music now has more possibility than ever before in playing a role in what is to be rather than echoing what is or was. Who knows Yod one of your songs on a tattered CD may possibly be dug up one day and gleaned as an example of the historical past ??? That would not be so bad I think. Perhaps a BandMix Time Capsule with PaperDog and many others would be well served and informative to the future ?? Or possibly utterly confusing ? At any rate we all now face the impending arrival of a prophecized New Age. The ancient transcending good and evil. The conflict between Darkness and Light, between Black and White. Each is percieved quite distinct from the other at times dependant upon perspective. ie Dark is light etc. I believe that the earthly and the spiritual dimensions are mirrors within the self. The principles of Good and Evil are always within you ...two paths. At the End of Time during the Twilight of the Gods, the powers of darkness and light come together to destroy and to create. I also believe that those who survive must not "rebuild" but rather must "create" something very different from what existed before. The quest of knowledge is the sole power that seeks renewal and yet creates destruction. True Knowledge has been slumbering for centuries awaiting the time of fulfillment. Esoteric Knowledge seems to support this. Our universe was created with sound so to speak, to sing and to make music is for me a most noble endeavour. Of course most do not make this connection and pursue it for other more obvious reasons. I do not condemn them but I do not hold a high respect either. You can not look into the future without seeing the present and the past. There is a great and growing darkness in the land. I think that at least we agree that the morality issue is far greater than the financial one. Music allows one to "engage the matrix". Music is not a silent weapon that sneaks in during the night and is by it's nature almost divine.This most recent attempt at the extermination of mankind had it's practical application commence in the 1920's. Loads of books and papers have been written ala Mein Kampf style which outline the intent. The Culling began with the Slow Kill and is increasing now at a most alarming rate...flouride, chem trails, radiation, vaccines, the intentional poisoning and subversive polluting. Now everyday there is more brazen application of this...the open proposals now regarding the murder of living children after birth and the extension of abortive procedures up to birth is a fine example of this. Mass Murder is now considered merely intervention. The world is rife with genocide,depopulation, looting, slaughter, exploitation and open war. All around is brutal regime change and the fragmentation of national soveriegnty. It is not Nation Building ... it is Nation Eradication with the sole purpose of Totalitarian World Domination. The Great Culling will begin after this is completed and the planet becomes a Charnel Planet. This is all in keeping with the principle of Harmonical Proportion I think ... not to be confused with Harmonical Conversion. The knowledge of the Inner Universe ...the Alpha and the Omega ... the Spirit and Matter. This is most clearly demonstrated by implosion and explosion. New technology should always harmonize with the Natural Order ... this is where mankind took the wrong path ...the path to self destruction. The World of Fire is now at odds with the World of Niflheim. In my opinion musicians should be warriors. Indian prophecy speaks of Warriors of the Rainbow and other ancient Middle Eastern prophecy speaks of warriors of the light or prism or crystal.. No, Yod is just nice to you. That is the only value that you take from anything he or anybody else says or does. The minute that Yod posts an opinion that doesn't support you, fall in line with your own or in some way caress your fragile ego, you'll be responding (at great length, no doubt) to him about what a mean man he is.

In defense of my own actions, though, the majority of the time I give everyone a fair chance-and welcome them. This thread has been at the top of the page for weeks, simply because a guy that may or may not be a musician doesn't know when to shut his mouth. I am pretty sure that I told him at the beginning that he was ruffling some feathers with his manner of delivery "Performing for the people backstage", as I put it, and he's continued doing just that the entire time...He keeps coming back because he gets a rise out of the attention. There are real musicians on this site that would like to have some spotlight time as well.
