Since el presidentes ban guns decree over 100,000 have joined the NRA. There have been lines of people both applying for permits to purchase and gun stores are sold out. Scheels had a line of people leading from the gun dept all the way into the mall. I like that. It makes me feel more secure to know that over 1000,000 more guns are in the hands of responsible citizens.

I don't understand how, but one gun store has enough great connections to re stock every week while the Internet gun store shelves are still bare. And they are getting the good stuff. My daughter bought a S&W M&P model Semi auto. That gun simply becomes an extension of your hand it feels so good. I never felt an pistol that fit my hand so good. Gotta get one of those. It makes the Glock 17 G4 feel like you are holding a 2X4.

No 9mm rounds in the stores here but two of my daughters friends, both women, went to a store about 100 miles from here and bought 500 rounds each. :) :) Some other people looked quite dismayed and asked "Are there any left for us?" and the clerk replied, "yes, we have 4 boxes left." They bought them and left happy to have the ammo needed to defend themselves.

So all this gun control, which is actually only bill of rights control because the crimes are not being committed by people who are being controlled, but rather all these crimes are being committed with arms that are NOT controlled.

No one reports on the many lives that are saved by those carrying concealed weapons. Why? Because the puppet media only goes along with the propaganda from the left. And that happens every day. So the people who step up to shoot at the criminals who are trying to kill unarmed Americans are never credited but rather they are maligned by the b.o. police instead. Go figure. How did we become a country where the good guy is the bad guy?

So if the media and politicians want to take the guns from those who step up to protect their fellow citizens, then what is their real motive? And if the puppet media does not report how many bad guys have been stopped by registered gun owners what is their real motive. If only 0.19% of all gun crimes are committed by registered gun owners, then what is their motive to take the guns from them?

No country that is well armed can be taken over by crooked self aggrandizing power hungry control freak politicians who wish to enslave their populations. Could that be the real reason for the gun grab?

wish I could find Obama's speech he made approx. 4 years ago saying basically we will never come after your rifles, shotguns, pistols etc. don't know if you are a fan of Alex Jones but Alex played a clip of Obama's speech saying don't worry, we won't ever come for your guns.. now, has he changed his tune? seems so to me..

glad YOU feel secure, but are you really so dense as to believe that every one of those purchases was made by a good law abiding citizen for the sole purpose of defending their homes???? really?

for someone so quick at offhandedly and matter of factly leveling derogatory names at others w views different than your's... you sure are one goofy mofo, aintcha?

sure, that's one possibility. the other is that there are still rational CITIZENS who WANT more gun control and recognize that making it tougher to get get a gun does NOT equal the big bad gubment coming for everyone's guns.....and it does NOT equal everyone who owns a legit having to surrender it.

only those living in a delusional, paranoia fed, doomsday scenario filled world believe everything has to be yet another domino theory.

ooooh, they make me walk my dog on a leash....next thing they're gonna say i can't have a dog! oh, no i have to stop at stop sign...just a matter of time before the gubment takes all our cars!

damn, i can't urinate in public...obviously the gubment is putting into a motion a plan to confiscate everyone's johnson!

good grief!

and the really sad part is......when it DOESN'T happen, all you conspiracy crazy government bashers will actually be disappointed.

I read through that post planetguy. You have one way that adds personal insult when you disagree with any one. Calling any one a goofy mofo is just going out of your way to sling a personal insult.
Stephan reinforced his teachings, or at least proved that he can make powerful points without having to be insulting. Thats Vamp if you don't remember.
Anyway,,,

Not to pick on you,,, Your post was just one big personal attack on Sacker. You didn't offer one point of view that explains the position that you so strongly defend. All it left me with is a feeling you are very afraid of guns.

This has very little to do with guns,, This is about personal responsibility,, that you would walk your dog on a leash, without a law,, that you will stop at the stop sign, that you won't urinate in public,,,,

You have tremendous personal responsibility,,, I don't need laws to protect me from your dog, and I know you are a responsible driver.

Now to give you a thought, More than half of Americans own guns, They are very thoughtful concerned people that are very fair. I am not going to go into all the statics because they are to easy to manipulate. You know it and I know it. Please don't BS me.

Do not infringe on the the rights of any human being that is not infringing on the rights of another human being. That is the very backbone and basis of America,,, Simplified,,, After that it gets complicated when everyone expects FREEDOM without the responsibility.

This is funny,,, Even Dianne Feinstein,,, The senator from California, the one that wants to push for GUN CONTROL....

SHE HAS A FULL CARRY, CONCEALED, PERMIT.

She is that much more important than the common man she is representing.

first off glen, thanks for keeping it above the belt and not going for the low hanging fruit w any cheap shots. (no, i'm not referring to my testes, tho in all honesty "low hanging fruit" might be an apt description)

i don't expect you to take the time to go back and check, but if you did you'd find that i didn't suggest slacker was a "goofy mofo" UNTIL after he called me, kramer, and anyone else who doesn't share his opinion a moron, an idiot, stupid, braindead and more.

and if someone thinks that's the way to go when having having a discussion.....well, it will come back on them. i've got a thick skin and his opinion of me means little to nothing. i'm sure he feels the same.

Stephan reinforced his teachings, or at least proved that he can make powerful points without having to be insulting. Thats Vamp if you don't remember.

and that garners points and my respect when he does that. but do you not recognize that vamp will often close a post w a judgemental and (perhaps unintentional) patronizing dismissal of those who don't see the inevitable logic of his view? likely you don't or won't fess up to seeing that.

again....if i attacked slacker (i think he can handle it as that's precisely HIS tactic) it's because that's how HE chooses to "discuss" on this board. attack your opponent's intelligence.

as for me not expressing any point of view...i think you should reread my post. because what i've italicized below is EXACTLY my view in re. to everyone who relishes and holds to paranoid "domino theory" scenarios.

you might view it as an "attack" on slacker but it's actually refuting the very same domino theories that he, you, yod, vamp, and others regulary express here.

it has EVERYTHING to do w guns, glen. you and i might have "personal responsibilty" not to speed thru a school zone but surely you're not naive enough to think EVERYONE else shares that same sense of personal responsibilty! yeah, it'd be great if EVERYONE did...but that's pie in the sky dreaming, and something to lament about the sad state of humanity.

...and if all people can't have the "personal responsibilty" (and good sense) to drive the speed limit in a school zone...or clean up after their mutt.....how in the world can you expect EVERYONE to use "personal responsibilty" when it comes to guns??????

You have tremendous personal responsibility,,, I don't need laws to protect me from your dog, and I know you are a responsible driver.

well, you don't need the laws to protect yourself from ME......but are you that confident everyone else shares the same "personal responsibilty" as you and i? my experiences lead me to feel and believe otherwise.

as for me fearing guns... you're wrong on that count, glen. 150% wrong. i have no problem w people who ARE responsible owning a "sensible weapon" for home defense, hunting, recreational shooting, etc. i am against folks owning assault weapons w a 30 round mag. that's just ridiculous.

as i see it if you are good citizen and didn't just get a day pass from your neighborhood loony bin...then you shouldn't have any problem waiting a little longer to acquire a gun. and you shouldn't have any objection to a background search...if you have nothing to hide.

glen, think about...having those views does NOT equal a fear of guns. it equals a fear of guns getting into the hands of the wrong people.

you can rail on and on about how it's the gov't taking away our freedom yet again....well, when you live in a society you DO have to make concessions and sacrifices for the greater good and safety of the population.

or...you can find a nice deserted desert island somewhere and do as you please.

Now to give you a thought, More than half of Americans own guns, They are very thoughtful concerned people that are very fair. I am not going to go into all the statics because they are to easy to manipulate. You know it and I know it. Please don't BS me.

so, you've met all these thoughtful and concerned people and can vouch for them? c'mon....that's a silly and sweeping statement that no one can (or should) make w a straight face.

Do not infringe on the the rights of any human being that is not infringing on the rights of another human being. That is the very backbone and basis of America,,, Simplified,,, After that it gets complicated when everyone expects FREEDOM without the responsibility.

well, again....i see tougher gun regs as no more "infringing on the rights of another human being" as i do speed limits, traffic laws, or even leashing and picking up after your pooch.

all those laws are aimed at keeping others safe and help keep us from stepping into a pile of pooch poop left there by someone w/o "personal responsibilty".

yeah...it's too bad we need laws that restrict what we do and can be viewed as stripping away our personal freedoms....but as long as we have people in the equation....we always will need those laws.

That was a very good post Mark.
Clearly we stand on opposite sides of the fence. Thank you for being courteous in your reply, I shall do the same. I have been way too guilty of using the same tactics you do. I will give you credit, you are very good at it.

Thank you, because of you, I am now far better prepared to deal with people that are on the other side of the fence.

YOu know you can tell me to f**k off and I don't even wince...lol
(Taps hard exterior...that's my shell and it's been around for a while.)

I may not agree with what you have to say, but I will fight to the death for the right for anyone to say what you think regardless of what I may or may not think about it...

Either kill me or stick me in the gulag, but don't think I am going down meek and wimpy...just not part of my nature, now or ever.

Now I lay me down to sleep
a bag of peanuts at my feet
My rifle and gun, poised for trouble
Let the entire world become so much rubble...

Gunshows?

Well first, let me say that I used to do a lot of security work and investigations etc. Between doing that while playing in various bands I learned to get a quick read on people.

I trust my own judgement about 85%.

I've been to a lot of gunshows on both coasts and I can say from personal observation that if you want to see America - here is where you go. There are very few bad guys in there - and even the few bad guys are polite. (there may be a message in there for the wise)

Scotty, I hope you realize, that of all the people that poke fun at others, I love your music, and your sense of humor. Sorry if I offended you, that was not my intent at all.

No Glenn, not at all. You don't bother me in the least.

But I am confused by some of these others, you betcha..
It's a rough lot here at the "Bmix Federal Auditorium"..

"WE sell peanuts and candy at intermission".

(But not to you Dane, you butt.)
(And no Milk for JW, he's lactose intolerant.lol )

PS: was ever only 50% MY music..the other half belongs to the insecure one.

...Slacker ... excellent Post. Glenn, Talbot, Scotty...I thank you all for your great Posts. Planet Guy ...best of luck to you and Dane. Guns are just as relevant as sex and Rock and will all become more and more important as time goes by in this year of 2013 ... the Last President and the End of Freedom, Constitution and Bill of Rights.
