I know many who do. They are mostly Christian arabs who were forced out of Bethlehem (by muslims) and now live in Nazareth. They had to go to the Israeli Supreme Court to sue for the right to be in the IDF (Israeli Defense Force) but they have seen first hand what muslims would do to them, and MUCH prefer being citizens in Israel.
Check out the supremely courageous Father Nadaf:

They must take off their uniform before leaving the barracks, unlike Jewish soldiers, for their own protection. it must be hard to sing a national anthem with the words of Hatikvah (paraphrasing: the heart of the Jew is to live in Jerusalem) but they do.
Nazareth is an interesting place. It's 100% Arab but divided in 60% muslim and 40% Christian. So who do you think they vote as the Mayor? The Communist who doesn't believe there is a god is the only impartial person in the city.
Druze (muslims) are some of the most decorated soldiers/commanders in the IDF also. There really is a lot more nuance to this than you realize.
I love Palestinian food. Did you try real shawarma? I could eat that for every meal the rest of my life!!
Your Palestinian friend was taught to hate jews since age 4 by attending terrorist training camps called "schools" in the Palestinian territories. Their only hope to escape that thick darkness is by getting out of there.
