Wasn't long ago when Christianity was predominant in Syria. I grew up knowing and befriending many Syrian people. MOF - my first employer was a Syrian man. I learned a lot about the Syrian culture by watching and listening to him. He made homemade Kibbes on Saturdays for a special treat. He was a stern man but he had a good heart.

What I'm getting to- Christian people have no chance in Syria today. They are being beheaded every day for their faith. Yes, the criminal element may slip into this country w/ them but I believe we (the American people) can handle this bunch w/o government assistance.

Using semantics to blur the issue does not change the fact that we have a known terrorist group sending their people into this country right now, they have told us this, and our so called leadership is doing nothing about it. They have proven they are mixing jihadis into the "refugees", they have sworn to attack this country, they have attacked a number of countries already including this one so we know they are not kidding, and our president insists on bringing them here. The difference is only one of their interpretation of their religious book. Similar tot he difference in Christian groups. Pentecostals operate under a much more strict interpretation of the Bible, banning make up and dancing, for example, while Baptists do not. Both are still considered Christians. Same int eh Muslim world, the jihadis operate under a very strict interpretation of the Koran, while the so called moderate Muslims are much more tolerant. Still both Muslims. Even their name, Islamic State in Iraq and Syria indicates they are Islamic. They are trying to re establish the Islamic caliphate that existed in that area many years ago. And succeeding quite well.

Be that as it may, the issue here is that we are looking at a greatly increased threat of attack in this country, and very soon, if we allow these refugees into this country. They hate the US more than anything else, they have sworn to attack us at every chance, and now they will have a much greater chance because our president is inviting them to come on in. At least 26 states have said no, he is still demanding they bow to his wishes.

Face it, we are under attack, we already have people in this country who have shown their willingness to attack any place and any time they think they can, and more are on their way. I don't care about percentages, ONE terrorist in this country is too many. Yes I've quoted percentages, only 40% of these people are actually from Syria, according to reports I've seen, and around 75 to 80% are military age males. That doesn't change the fact that this group of barbarians are definitely planning attacks on this country and are getting their people in here to do it right now.

I may be in the grocery store when some maniac blows himself up, can't go there armed, but if they try to go house to house, I won't be sitting there completely unprepared, believing it won't happen. You believe what you want to. I see the facts. They are already here and more are coming. What happened in Paris will happen here. Obama is making sure of it. Having guns will not stop them, it will only give us a chance to defend ourselves. It may or may not help, but at least we can try.
