I didn't see any indication it was a joke.
I haven't watched the Flintstones in 40 years but I watch Looney Toons every day, it's Yosemite Sam that usually uses those terms, Fred Flinstone may have too but I don't know so I won't argue the point.
And yes I do have a very good sense of humor. But it wasn't presented as a joke. Not that I could tell.

Thanks Jeff, you've made progress, I have to give you that, but you're also usually doing it in response to the idiocy started by others. Not always, you do initiate it at times but it's not standard procedure like it usually is with the liberals around here and virtually every comments section I see on news websites. It seems to be the only way they know how to respond. Shoot the messenger rather than try to actually out a little thought into a sensible response.
I've watched this for a long time and knew eventually one day I'd get pissed but tried to keep my cool and just watch...I also didn't just throw a fit, I've showed you all it can be done for a long time. Scour the forums all you want you won't find one instance where I descended into the typical ridicule and name calling on here, I present my views and opinions as clear as I can and in an intelligent manner, I've only been the subject of such ridicule once, and I simply ignored it. It seems I don't do it to them so they don't do it to me. It can be done. I've proven that. So nobody can point any fingers at me, I've always practiced what I preach and I've been trying to get you bozos to drop the crap and try to held a civil discussion for a long time, you refuse to listen or even try. Always the same senseless, immature nonsense that does nothing but create the same kind of division seen all over the country right now, incited by the useless liar in the White House and a few of his closest cronies. I've pointed that out too, they love seeing people at each others throats.
We have a very serious problem brewing in our country, we don't need the people fighting each other over ideology. If things keep going as they are now it won't be long till we'll be fighting for our lives. Literally. Our government is trampling our rights, that hundreds of thousands maybe millions have died for, most of our government is greedy self serving liars, so far I can't see anyone on deck for the next election I can say I'm seriously interested in voting for, one or two possibilities...maybe....Islamic terrorists are already in this country and have already attacked us, police are under attack and in a very dangerous position everywhere, especially large cities, Christians and religion in general are under attack, riots and looting twice because of outright lies, Iran almost certain to have nuclear weapons inside a year, and that's a major threat, they've been promising to attack this country for years...education has gone downhill badly in the past 20 years, most high school graduates are mostly illiterate, just look at the horrid spelling and grammar on any forum or comments section, why do they think anyone should take them seriously if they can't even spell what they're trying to say? Even if you hate Fox you need to watch The O'Reilly Factor now and then and catch the "Watter's World" segment. He's interviewed college students and random people on the street numerous times. You'd be appalled to find out how many people can't identify pictures of Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, John Boehner, Eric Holder...people can't tell you the vice president's NAME even...and that's college students...college students who don't know who ISIS is...it's amazing how incredibly stupid high school graduates are these days.
And I'm probably missing quite a few of the serious problems facing the country and the entire planet. Islamic terrorists are a world wide problem, and Obama has consistently refuse to do a thing about border security even after it's been proven they are already here and coming across the border at will. Virtually all of our allies either don't trust us any more, or outright don't like us, while Obama is making buddies with our long time enemies like Iran and China, Putin is doing things he never would have done 10 years ago, because the US is no longer considered a world leader or a major obstacle to unjustified aggression, which is why people like Putin wouldn't make a move 10 years ago...
Think about that one. I didn't like Bush at all, but what did he do on 9-11? All his advisers saying not no but hell no and he went to ground zero and stood up to the terrorists. Fast forward to ISIS beheading two American journalists, Obama makes a quick say nothing speech and is on the golf course less than 10 minutes later...while David Cameron (did I get his name right?) cancelled his own vacation and headed straight for British Parliament, and two days later had legislation in place to allow England to confiscate passports of people suspected of terrorist activity and not let them back into the country...while Obama played more golf. Bush went to ground zero and at least checked out New Orleans from the air after Katrina, Obama refused to go to the Texas border and see the mess ha made himself. 93 million Americans have dropped out of the job market, he wants to bring millions more illegal immigrants into the country to take even more jobs from us. And let those already killing the job market stay here, get tax refunds they didn't earn for at least 3 years back, every government hand out you can think of, some that legal Americans have trouble getting...
Climate change...what a joke...global warming fell flat on its face when it turned out the hottest summer on record was 18 years ago, so now they want to call it climate change and want me to believe CO² is going to cause more heating, which is a load of crap. CO² is required for plants to grow, and CO² levels were many times higher during the Cretaceous period than now, and ambient temperatures were cooler, not hotter. I'm going to say 3000 times higher but not positive that's correct. Feel free to look it up and correct me. Solar activity has a much greater affect on earth's weather. Sunspots in particular. Low to nonexistent sunspot activity has been historically associated with colder temperatures. The sun s currently going into a period of exceptionally low sunspot activity, potentially resulting in another mini ice age of 30 to 50 years similar to the one in the 1300's. (gotta look up that date again too, might be wrong) And we can do absolutely NOTHING about it. And all Obama wants to do is throw more money at it anyway. Your money...
Baltimore, Ferguson...Riots, looting, racial tension...all exacerbated by the Obama administration. Obama sent 3 government officials to Michael Brown's funeral and 3 to Freddie Gray's funeral, none to the funerals of any of the police officers shot for no reason recently. Other than being cops. He started calling Al Sharpton his "go to guy on race relations". How stupid can you get? Sharpton should be in jail for tax evasion. Eric Holder should be in jail for gun running. "Hands up don't shoot" was proven to be a lie. Autopsy results and the blood trail prove Michael Brown was coming toward the officer, not going away or trying to surrender, after attacking the officer in his patrol car, which was proven by Brown's blood inside the car and on the gun. And nobody in Obama's world wants to admit it was all a lie. As usual he fans the flames of racial tension, same as he and his cronies always call anyone racist if they criticize him.
Hillary - first and foremost, always a liar, corrupt, secretive...tries to tell the press what questions they can ask, so far has not done any interviews and has answered only a small few questions, tries to tell a Congressional inquiry when and how many time she will testify...lied about how many devices she used and hid all her emails from Congress, then deleted them AFTER Congress requested ALL emails...and wiped the server she used against State Department rules...and still thinks she should be our next president. I think she should be immediately disqualified if not arrested for contempt of Congress and prosecuted for tampering with evidence.
So you see, we have a LOT of serious problems facing us. It's a very bad idea to argue and bicker, ridicule and indulge in sophomoric name calling. I gave that up in elementary school. I had already been called every name you can think of, I was intelligent and teachers used me as an example, so I was usually the most hated person in school. You don't tell 24 eight year old kids "he's a year younger than you and he can do it, why can't you?", and get good results. I wasn't smarter than the other kids, I just learned a lot quicker and easier. They hated that... So I saw how stupid and cruel people can be long ago and I don't like it. I don't like to see the people here and all over the net showing their ignorance and intolerance. This is a very bad time for that. Our government has turned against us. Right now as I type, Obama is trying to figure out more ways to take away our ability to defend ourselves, by eliminating guns any way he can, while criminals always have and always will get guns on the black market and we will be sitting ducks if he gets his way. People are attacking cops all over the place. Do they think the local drug dealer will come to their aid when some crackhead breaks into their house? Do they think the local gang members will stop the violence? They start the violence.
Start communicating, not arguing. If you don't we're in serious trouble. We're in serious trouble already actually...we have to figure out how to deal with it now. I seriously doubt any person on this forum would meet me in line at the grocery store and have no idea who I was, and talk to me the way you treat each other on here. You know someone would knock you on your ass.
Start acting like you have a little respect for other people dammit...
