Well said Jeff.
Mike sorry about your friend.

How disgusting has our commitment to all men and women that are willing to die to protect our freedom, become?

The traitors to our constitution are firmly in control. May God give us the strength to protect our protectors and protect the very law of the land that allows all people to live in freedom.

Naaaaaaaaaaaaaa. We only live under the pretense of freedom.

If anyone does not believe that try to send your kid to school with a lunch of your choice in one of the liberal states or at a school that gets government money. How about sending him to school with a cookie that has the shape of a gun (in some sick twisted bastards mind).

Try to do something to your house with out having to pay the city first. Even try to dig a hole in your yard without having a armful of documents in some states or cities. Have your kids try to sell lemon-aid legally on a hot day without a permit.

Try to purchase 22 caliber bullets. Try to enact your second amendment rights to own a firearm without jumping through hoops. And even that doesn't work in some Nazitized states or cities.

Try expressing yourself using the freedom of speech in your terms without someone yelling racism or hate mongering if you choose to use the "wrong" word.

Try to put an outlet in your living room without government unions threatening to red tag your home if you don't let a union electrician do the work. And the list goes on and on.

Someone calls this freedom?

They are in your living room, in your bedroom, in your kitchen, in your basement, in your garage, in your yard, in your car..... where can you find a place where they are not?

Government breathes down your neck 24/7, listening to your phone calls, gathering your e-mails, checking to see what you watch on TV, what you download on the Internet, what you up load on the Internet, where your interests lie when you go to Internet sites, how long you are on line, what you say on blogs and forums, what you say to your neighbor, seeing how much money that you have or don't have in the bank, they are watching your coming and going.

They are in your head monitoring your speech and your thoughts.

There is only one place where freedom exists in America, and that is in the minds of the ignorant.

Where is this so called freedom of which some some speak?

Good comment Badstrat. Shame over 200 million Americans don't have clue.

In 2012 an executive order 13603 was signed.

It totally usurps the CONSTITUTIONAL power given to our congress.

Vamp is right... So many stupid people so little time.

Just as a point of interest... Maybe pure coincidence... I have been knocked off-line 3 times, trying to post something here.

FREEDOM... Or freedumb.

The Important Veterans’ Program Obama Wants to Cut…Just Six Months After He Signed it Into Law (TheBlaze.com)
Feb. 3, 2015 8:53am Pete Kasperowicz

The Obama administration outraged members of Congress on Monday by proposing to scale back a new program aimed at letting veterans access health care outside the VA system.

Last August, Congress passed a VA reform bill that created the Veterans Choice Program, which was supposed to be a way to speed up access to health care given the breakdown within the VA itself. President Barack Obama quickly signed it into law.

But on Monday, Obama released a budget plan that said he would try to pare it back, and would offer legislation to do so. “In the coming months, the administration will submit legislation to reallocate a portion of Veterans Choice Program funding to support essential investments in VA system priorities in a fiscally-responsible, budget-neutral manner,” the budget said.

VA Secretary Robert McDonald added that he would propose this chance in order to provide flexibility at the VA, in order to “serve veterans the way they want and deserve to be served.”

Key members of the House and Senate reacted by saying the idea was already dead in Congress. House Veterans’ Affairs Committee Chairman Jeff Miller (R-Fla.) called it a “non-starter, which I will not support.”

“When a near-unanimous Congress worked with President Obama last year to create the choice program, we made a promise to veterans to give them more freedom in their health care decisions,” he said. “I will not stand idly by while the president attempts to renege on that promise.”

“It is unacceptable to me that the president would begin to dismantle the Veterans’ Access, Choice and Accountability Act of 2014 that he just signed into law last August by taking the resources allocated to enact this legislation for use elsewhere,” said Senate Veterans’ Affairs Committee Chairman Johnny Isakson (R-Ga.).

A Monday story in Military.com said Obama’s plan is to reallocate some of the $15 billion under the Veterans Choice Program, in part because not all of that money is needed. According to that story, a senior VA official said interest in the program “has not been as high as anticipated.”

Concerned Veterans for America indicated that their members worry that Obama’s plan would make it harder to escape a VA system that is still rife with health care delays for veterans.

“This budget action would have the effect of denying many veterans the choice to access private health care, thereby forcing them to stay in a VA health care system that has failed, for too long, to provide care in a timely manner — sometimes with deadly consequences,” said CVA CEO Pete Hegseth.

“He is undermining the very reforms he signed into law before they are fully implemented, making it quite clear that he has no desire to truly reform the VA,” Hegseth added.

I guess he needs more money to fund the terrorists who vowed to destroy America, yet AGAIN. A good many names for this most disgusting of entities come to mind but I refuse to let my tongue repeat them. On the bright side my new Veterans card is officially more worthless than it was when I got it a few months ago so there won't be any need to clutter my wallet with it.
