I think that if the penalty was harsh enough to stop them from wantonly killing each other, they might take the time to find another victim to harass.

Yod, I think what you are missing is that most people in palenstine aren't terrorists. Most of them are women and children, who are suffering at the hands of people they cannot control or persuade.

If I lived in the same neighborhood as you, and decided to blow up every corporate office in town because I hate corporations, is it safe to assume that you must also be a terrorist because you live in my neighborhood?

It's never going to be black and white, and I get that, but consider that most of the people there on both sides want peace. The difference is that there are also people on both sides who don't, and then others more who do want peace, but only by annihilation. I think the bully takeover (probably warlords and drug cartels) will happen exclusively on the Palestine side and it will become more like somelia than anything else. Then the jews will claim persecution by someone else. Not to seem anti-semitic, but these guys have evolved into professional victims, warranted or not, they use it to justify every atrocity they commit. When does the score finally wash even?
