Time Persons of the Year. Could this be what inspired the Leftist rag to nominate them ?

Greta Thunberg 2019
The Left was captivated by her head spinning around & spitting pea soup at the pope during a live interview. *

Obama 2008, 2012
Loved & admired for trying to make America a third world country through hundreds of illegal edicts.

Vladimir Putin (2007)
The Left is truly admires the clever & orderly way he dispatches his political enemies.

Ayatollah Ruholla Khomeini (1979)
Good bet that the Left was inspired by him and adopted his credo "Death to America" as their own.

Nikita Khrushchev: 1957
Beloved by Dems for his promise: "We will take America without firing a shot"

Joseph Stalin (1939 and 1942)
Respected for his orderly execution of 30,000 Russian officers, or half of the army and navy staff.

Adolf Hitler (1938)
Leftists love him for almost ridding the world of those "pesky" Jews.
...........

Could Cenk Uygur be the next Time Magazine Person of the Year?

California congressional candidate Cenk Uygur endorses sex with animals. (Even without their consent?)

* A real life Linda Blair performance (As in the The Exorcist (1973)

I gather from your pretty pictures that you became confused when the the two words "WHAT Inspires" were linked together in a complete sentence. At least your liberal friends probably thought your post was a brilliant response.

"What Inspires Time Magazine Person of the Year Nominations?"
Since I did not read any of those issues I really don't know what inspired those choices or what their overall opinion was about those people. If I were to hazard a guess, being so uninformed about the articles contents, I would just guess the main inspiration would have been magazine sales. A controversial cover choice is a proven ploy to drive magazine sales.

If TIME magazine's 'Person Of The Year' covers were as politically motivated by leftist leanings (being a "leftist rag") as you claim, then what inspired so many heroes of the 'right wing' to be featured as 'Persons Of The Year'?

Did you actually read any of those issues? ... I would gather, from your childish assessments, that you did not.

The last 3 on your list were published while it's founder Henry Luce was still 'editor in chief'. Luce was hardly to be considered a 'leftist'.

Luce, who remained editor-in-chief of all his publications until 1964, maintained a position as an influential member of the Republican Party. Holding anti-communist sentiments, he used TIME to support right-wing dictatorships in the name of fighting communism.
An ardent anti-Soviet, he once demanded John Kennedy invade Cuba, later to remark to his editors that if he did not, his corporation would act like Hearst during the Spanish–American War. The publisher would advance his concepts of US dominance of the "American Century" through his periodicals ....

You comment as if you believed the humor and sarcasm of my post to be fact. For someone to believe that Greta Thunburgs head was spinning around & spitting pea soup at the pope during a live interview, and then attempt to refute the humor with data is beyond my ability to compute. Only libs dispute humor with seriousness. Conservative pundits are right, although I didn't think they were until now. The liberal mind can not comprehend humor.

You comment as if you live in a delusional bubble where you believe that there is anyone on this forum who would believe in your Breitbart reposts and delusional ramblings.

So you were just joking about TIME being a leftist rag?
That is so feeble it's funny!!
