Is this the sound of the blue wave coming?

See you on election day!

You think so? I'm thinking not...there will, in my opinion, be some surprises that will shock a lot of the 'sensitive folk.'

Just in case, I'm putting in a couple extra TV dinners and a bottle of Early Times. Some of the folks out there seem pretty angry and I'm not.

I rarely agreed with JimmyD on political stuff but always got along just fine with him. He is a fine fellow for the most part, except when you call him names, and I still have some of his posts in my musical 'help' file. He knew his stuff.

Missouri fires McCaskill and NY hires a socialist.

I liked the results in GA and FL and TX also.

Red Executive office, Red Senate, pretty Red Supreme Court, we ought to
put The Blue House of Representatives in place, make them Green.

I was just in Gulfport MS last weekend, thought MS had it's sh*t together
better then that.

Look at the last 2 years and tell me Trump even wanted to have both houses of Congress on his side. He wants to fight everyone. He wants to get on Twitter daily and relive his glory days for the WWE.

It wasn't much of a blue wave. 45 or so Republican House representatives had retired, so if half of the open spots were taken by Democrats, it would amount to a 23 seat gain, which is about what happened. The majority now is all of 3 (or 4)? In the meantime the Senate gained Republican seats.
The only REAL blue wave was in the gubernatorial elections where Dems flipped seven governorships and the Repubs flipped zero.
NOW the fun begins with the firing of Jeff Sessions. Gloves are coming off. BUCKLE YOUR SEATBELT.
