This is one of those points where I completely side with Republicans... I think it's critical right now that we're more selective.

I'm not aware of any changes in the 'rules' for immigration where a job is 'waiting' for the person. We're not talking about legalizing illegal aliens here, we're talking about legal immigration into the country through the in-place process.

The Democrats better get a grip before it's too late... it seems you're being over-run by the Democratic Socialist... Members of DSA seem to be inching towards communism... and you have nut cases like Ocasio campaigning around the country getting the word out about the free education and free housing or whatever the hell it is they're given away...
They're causing more division in the party and if they start to really get some traction it may be a long time before you win another election.

I wasn't referring to any type of amnesty... all I'm saying is we have plenty of uneducated... unskilled laborers... we need more educated individuals who seem to grasp the Western idea and assimilate much quicker.

The over-all decrease in the number of legals and being more selective is a good idea based on the needs.

Not sure who your comment is to Schmed... what I've seen/read even Tapper from CNN reported the numbers indicated are correct (although at a press conf. last week Huckabee was given some wrong info. regarding Obamas numbers... later apologized for)
What's in question is Trump taking credit for the low numbers because of his policies. Black unemployment has been decreasing for the past 8 years or so.
So it's a continuing trend... he most likely is a contributing piece but not the sole reason for the low numbers...

I would definitely agree with you that the truth lies somewhere in between what the two sides ate claiming and I'm always skeptical of any claims regarding what a certain presidential administration has to do with these results. Anyone who follows this stuff closely knows there are two sets of unemployment rate stats that are used by the different parties. It's a shell game.

I realize that an administration can go whole hog on government rules and regulations, "economic stimulus" and all that garbage like Obama did and extend a recession for years (like Obama did). But to be in 100% adoration for Trump's policies (especially when they suck) is completely ridiculous in my opinion. The guy is a crazy egomaniac who has surrounded himself with complete bozos and they're all doing whatever the hell they want to. They'll all be in prison soon enough.

Can Trump pardon all of them? Probably. Can he pardon himself? That's a discussion every news outlet was having a month ago.

Well yeah... I agree he's had quite the cast thus far... still no charges ... no convictions related to collusion or treason or whatever they want to call it today.
And yeah these things take time and trying to leverage one thing for another requires some patience... but at this point the appearance is nothing more than a stall imo. At what point does this just become embarrassing to the left?
It looks like the investigation will go on and on... stall turns into nothing but smear campaigning.
You'd think after all this time all the interviews all the $$$ they would have the "gotcha" by now...
Best we've gotten out of this so far is Hillary is a piece of garbage which half of us already knew... a bunch of Russian agents were hacking during Obamas time in office... Flynn who had worked for many politicians before trump as an advisor lied to Pence the FBI etc... and Manafort who is about to be convicted of a bunch of chit that has nothing to do with Trump.

CNN among other outlets filed a motion to publicly reveal the names and home addresses of those serving on the jury for the Manfort trial... after jurors asked the judge questions that legal experts interpreted as favorable for Manaforts defense attorneys and unfavorable to the prosecution.... time to dox when things weren't falling into place?

Pardon himself for what? It has been proven and documented that Bruce and Nelle Ohr, and Christopher Steele all used unsubstantiated accusations to create a fake dossier to get a FISA warrant then lied about it to use it TWICE to start an investigation on Trump. It is also TRUE that this was started before Trump was inaugurated. Do you even know who Bruce and Nellie Ohr and Christopher Steele are?
