Ok I feel I have to point out some things about changing someone's quotes since I'm the asshole who brought that practice here. I found the practice on another forum where most of the members are Gen-X'ers or younger, so they actually have a sense of humor (unlike a lot of you baby boomers
). No one on that forum would ever get mad about this practice, but here it's obviously going to be different. Very different. So, once again, being the guy who started it, here's the rules (which I stuck to, maybe you can too)
1 - it has to be a recent quote. In that thread, particularly as the next reply or at least on that page (not a previous one). You don't go 5 years into the past and drag someone's trash out and rip up the bag and spread it all over the place, capiche? No going back to the 2012 election and changing how they voted.
2 - keep it light hearted. Example. Glenny says "you're crazy". I change it to "I'm crazy". That's how it works. If you go further than that, you're doing it wrong.
3 - if you don't follow those 2 rules, no one is going to believe anything you post anyway, you dirty dog.
Got it? Great.
