25 million dollars.
I guess he just wanted to give up? Right or wrong, or...
Maybe it was just an unimportant battle... Compared with his end game... The mandate from the AMERICAN PEOPLE.
As president elect...
Now he's has far more important issues to deal with...

MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!!!!

Just a small start, FORD MOTOR is not going to to move it's Kentucky plant to MEXICO.
I guess some of those good Americans, that work there will have a Christmas after all.
Amen.

I take this as an indication that he finally took some good advice from someone who knows what they're doing. He'll need lots of that. The media is now 100% opposed to everything he does. Time to stop with this petty whining like the incident with the Hamilton musical.

Good post Schemdidiah.

That's exactly what he does... The comedy statement of the night at the Hamilton theater WAS...

"You have to protect our American ideals"

My reply is simple... Your ideals violate the American constitution... In other words... THEY ARE NOT AMERICAN!

MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! A nation of total opportunity!!!!!

The current UAW contract keeps them from doing anything - it would cost Ford too much to try to move the operation at this point. Watch out when the union contract ends, though. (info from friends who used to work for FoMoCo)

Every good leader does this. Many Presidents have also.

This election was a public repudiation of the media by half the country. So I think it doesn't matter what the media says anymore; their nakedness was just laid bare. Our problem is the remaining people who are easily manipulated by fear.

I added emphasis to your words there, pig daddio!

This grand-standing was about protecting themselves from the consequences and the guilt of their own racist hetero-phobia.

Appreciated Ted.
I was only trying to point out that many of those ideals violate the very law that keep us a republic, a nation of stable law.

So when are you gonna stop by and split some more FLAT TIRES? :)

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family Ted!

Trump settled the suit, which he never does, because he has bigger fish to fry.

And he's skinning a lot of them already...Ford not moving, Carrier thinking about it, stock market hit record highs already, Canada and Mexico agreed to re-negotiate NAFTA, calls from a load of world leaders, most of them positive, moving right along with is cabinet appointments, shut lobbyists out, plans already underway for bills to beef up 2nd Amendment...scrap Obamacare bills underway too I think...probably a lot more we know nothing about so far.

Why? He always surrounds himself with the best and brightest, of course. He's been doing it for 40 years, that's why he's a multi billionaire. He knows a good executive can't get anywhere without competent advice. That's why with all the anti-Trump smear articles we saw during the campaign, they were never able to come up with a dozen or so former employees with horror stories about what an awful boss he is...they couldn't find any, Trump employees love the guy.

The most interesting election ever is over but the Trump Train keeps rolling along, with the media of course doing its usual best at smearing everything he does. I'm surprised they don't call his socks racist...CNN anchor says they'll have to be Trump's opposition, Jake Tapper I think...in other words, the usual propaganda...of course around 70% of the public feel the media is biased and unfair these days so I suspect their influence will be dwindling, CNN dropped to 3rd in the newest ratings, NY Times reported 95% drop in revenue this year...and Trump goes around them by producing videos he uploads to youtube and facebook to get his first 100 days plan and Thanksgiving message directly to the people...very good they were too...

And don't believe 3/4 of the stories you see about the Trump transition being in chaos. The press grabs anything they can and finds a way to twist it into an anti Trump rant, in hopes they can diminish the current majority public opinion that Trump will do a good job. Just the fact that they are smearing his transition should tell you they're scared, it's going a lot better than they ever expected. I pay no attention to the press at all any more except to look up what kind of lies they're spreading occasionally. I've known they were liars since Clinton was being impeached or earlier. Hopefully a lot of other people are waking up too.

I was really surprised when he decided to settle the university suit, he never ever pays off lawsuits, he sees it as an open invitation for more people looking to scam him out of some money. I know he didn't like the decision, and he was probably getting some strong advice from others in his inner circle too. I know he has some really good people, and at least a couple who aren't afraid to stand up to the boss. He's not the kind of guy who wants a lot of yes men around. That's why Newt Gingrich is still one of his closest advisers, even though he has spoken very strongly against several of Trump's statements and positions and publicly. Trump already knew he would do it though, that's why he's part of the inner circle. Trump wants people who have the balls to question what he does and debate it with him. You can bet that includes Rudy G, Steve Bannon, Kellyanne Conway and probably others.
