Ben Carson turned down a role in Trump's cabinet as he said he had 'no government experience'

quote: 'Having me as a federal bureaucrat would be like a fish out of water, quite frankly'

....and yet he ran for the office of president.

It is always refreshing when nonpoliticos recognize reality. Perhaps the Clinton's and the Obama's will "see the light" and errors of their ways ... Ha Ha. Not everyone has the Balls to buck the entrenched political filth. "Chelsea" is well on her way to becoming Political filth. She has been able to ignore her "Parents" Crimes and become a good little Hypocrite with "political asperations".

I don't understand why you don't understand?

Politics is inherently corrupt. Changing a corrupt culture takes an outsider, someone not tainted by the process. Trump has been an insider for decades, but not a politician.

I think Ben Carson is protecting his own integrity by not becoming a politician.

refreshing

And it's always SAD when non politicos DON'T recognize reality.

So, NOW after failing to get the nomination and losing his bid for presidency... he NOW is concerned and "honest" about his lack of qualifications? And somehow that doesn't strike you as bizarro?

Where was his "integrity" when he believed himself to be qualified to assume the highest office in the land.....on hold?

If he is in fact concerned w maintaining his "integrity", perhaps he has no wish for it be tainted by associating himself w Trump's administration. Perhaps he has no wish to go down with a sinking ship.

The REAL sinking ship is the so-called "Mass Media". Unlike Carson none of these prostitutes have any Honour, respectability or Truth associated with them. And morality ? Ha Ha

And now you're further off topic talking about the media???? What's next.....your favorite scotch?

Myself....I prefer a single malt, but being a penurious bastard, I usually have my liquor cabinet stocked w Dewars and/or Chivas (see that, how i kept it relevant w "cabinet"????)

My favourite Scotch is of course Buchanan's. Ben Carson is very much like a "good scotch" and in order to avoid any tastless contamination he defers "mixes" much like those practiced in the "Whine Industry".

When it comes to "smokey" I prefer a good Merlot. For me the smokey taste goes better with a red wine than any of the "spirits". But to each his own.

I love Dr Carson. I think he has so many wonderful attributes.

However maybe he doesn't want to get involved because he is a racist.

How is that for being ridiculous?

By the way you guys drink good stuff. I can't afford that stuff. I had a customer that loved J.W. Blue or Black or some other label I can't remember. It was like $10 for 2 fingers in a tiny glass.

I'm gonna have to stick to water for now until Ted tries to poison me with some more FLAT TIRES!

"What's next.....your favorite scotch?" "Chivas?"

That is certainly one of them.

I would like to try Macallan 1926 ( $54,000 ) or one of the other most expensive ones just to see why they are so expensive.

Is this JookeyMan's Thread ? Here in Sonora I prefer Indio to Tecate. Just going with the "flow".
