Joined the United States Army 06/09/1973. Honorable Discharge 08/31/1993. Job title; 98H Morse Interceptor and 25P Visual information audio documentation systems specialist.
I served during the following conflicts; Vietnam War, Lebanon, Grenada, Panama, Gulf War (Desert Storm and Desert Shield) and Somalia.
I received the following medals; Two Army commendation medals, two Army achievement medals, six Good conduct medals, 2 Army superior units, one Air Force outstanding unit, National defense service medal, two NCO professional development Ribbon, Three Army service ribbon and four overseas service ribbon.
I served at the following locations; Fort Leonard Wood Missouri, Fort Devens Massachusetts, Kelly Air Force Base San Antonio Texas, Ansbach Germany and Misawa Japan.

I am not so much into playing out anymore as I now have just started a resort in northern Minnesota as of April 2015.

Navy Jan 1974 - July 76, general discharge, got into a little trouble selling things the guys liked and for some reason uncle sam wasn't happy about it...Norfolk, VA repairing binoculars and other optical instruments. Loved the job, and was very good at it, best in the shop. Unfortunately there's no such thing as binocular repair outside...I didn't know that till I got in.

Musically, various bands and fill in gigs since then, currently a 3 piece with electronic drums and loads of harmony vocals mostly doing low volume gigs at cafes and such, but our first bar gig is dec 11.

Pretty much agree with RG about past presidents, LBJ horrendous and a compulsive liar, Nixon was a criminal, Carter useless, hated Ford, didn't like Reagan but he did ok, Bush Sr ok, Clinton another criminal and serial liar, (ditto...no double ditto for Hillary, both should be in prison) Bush 2nd sucked out loud, Obama a criminal, liar, traitor, and generally the worst president ever, violates oath of office almost daily. Obama should be in prison too.

Excellent Thread Haley. RPG Project has the best appraisal I have ever seen. Forgive me for posting as I have never "served". I could not resist commenting on RPG Project's Post. It is well known now that Obama is not what he pretends to be and that he is a Criminal like so many of the current Political Filth. He is indeed a Traitor. The Vets are being exterminated as they are considered the Prime Enemies of the Nation they once served.. the reasons for this are obvious. I believe that any one who has not been "purged" from command needs to do their Duty and defend the Constitution and the country from the despicable enemies within. We shall see.

My service was with a foreign army but my take on the uniparty is negative. They are destroying the country. They disgust me.

really? are you not going to the extremes just a bit? when Timothy McVeigh did his horrendous act, did you suggest banning the church he attended?

Dayne ... I did not get any of that from RG's excellent Posts and observations. I caution that there is more to the Timothy McVeigh storie than is told by the "Mass Media". Islam is not a "religion" of PEACE it is Evil demanding total SUBMISSION. As such it is an ENEMIE of your Country. This should be obvious by now due to The Black Messiah, The Hag, and what has been orchestrated in Western Europe. I agree with the points RG made so well ... very thought provoking and refreshing. That is my opinion Dayne and you have voiced yours.

The Service of any who served their country in these most recent wars is by nature peppered with controversy but unless you were actually there then your opinion does not, can not possibly carry the same authority. the USA has a history of many Presidents who served in the Military and to me it is quite obvious that it was a very good influence ... even Daddy Bush. If one reads The Constitution and applies it, then any able bodied man who does not support the American Military and it's Veterans is a TRAITOR. You may take exception to what i have stated Dayne, I like you and mean no insult.

The Veterans deserve much more than "Watson". Trump has all along promised them more. It is up to everyone to hold him to this and his other promises. My Father was a medic in Korea. I had relatives on both sides of WWII from Germany and Scotland ... some fighting one another on D-Day. I think when one is prepared to sacrifice his life for his Country and people ... that counts for something special ... it dwarfs those imbeciles who burn the flag, spit on Veterans and ridicule the Constitution ..... and "love" ISLAM.
