I know this is just a matter of tastes and it's all subjective but I got into 'Nebraska' for a short period of time because I liked the stripped down lo-fi sound on that album. I just went back and listened to some of it and a lot of it is in the same key which makes it sound like one large medley to me.

I just think being the 'Boss' is being a bit pretentious to me. Again, Boss of what?? Mediocrity?
I'm sorry but I don't get it. I would rather listen to your band than Springsteen if that's any consolation. At least you are drawing from the well.

Springsteen was on a lib talk show last night where he solidified his status as being king of the uninformed liberal dorks. Every time the lib audience applauded for him he applauded for himself in the slow manner of a trained seal.

Excellent Post ..."Bruce" is the Boss of the Dumbed Down easily manipulated and in many ways innocent great unwashed in America. In my opinion. Chris Issak has some class but Bruce has none. But is it really important how any musician or actor "feels" about any political filth. And further it matters not if anyone likes them or not ... Bruce was popular and sold alot of records and was like Marc Bolan to many. It is a funny world which when viewed from an unpopular perspective is quite often very tragic.

The only reason Bruce is talking smack is because of the dismal sales of his new album.

I really can't think of another musician/artist/singer/band that I'd say I "hate". But Bruce is sooo blindly and stupidly partisan that I just can't bear the sight of him.

He had a couple of good songs, I guess. So what?

Bruce has been merging into a single identity with Bon Jovi for decades. Partisan democrats. Fill stadiums full of dumbasses to sing along to sappy music that hasn't been relevant for decades. Oh, and New Jersey.
