Oh, I wouldn't worry about Israel. They've already outlasted every super power in history.

Here's what I get and what I don't get:

I realize that being a billionaire means you could buy your way in, whether anyone likes it or not, so it will just be a different mob owning America for the next 4-8 years if he wins. I realize the Donald is a tremendously large graven image of American television and casino culture with millions of zealous dedicated fans who think he gets them. They mostly seem like people who want revenge from their next President.

I love Donald Trump on TV! I just don't know why anyone actually believes that he would govern as anything but the meglo-egomaniac he seems so obviously to be? Is that really the temperament of the legal representative of 360,000,000 Americans (and who knows how many dozens of millions of non-Americans?) that we want?

I'm wondering why people don't understand that being a tough negotiator isn't the same thing as being The President of the United States of America?

Has the office really cheapened that much? If so, Mark, I blame Bill Clinton for playing a saxophone and having sex with someone other than the (e-hem) woman that is getting slapped around by an old honest socialist currently.

damn lefties! :P

Ted in no way is this a personal attack. Explain why I can get complete insurance coverage of half a million dollars for my house for less than 2 grand a year. Health care insurance, to get a decent catastrophic plan is going to cost 10 times that.
The reason is leadership. With leadership like STUPAC... Who the F needs it. With a president that just negotiated the rights of a nation against a wildcat nation that doesn't care about world security.

I think it is time to roll the dice, to use your casino analogy. George Washington had a scared population of over half, that did not want to rock the boat against tyranny. Lincoln had to stand up to a huge populace that was against the fundamental value of freedom. Kennedy did not negotiate, when he demanded the removal of soviet missiles. Reagan did not negotiate either... He threatened the soviets with an arm race so great it led to their change of direction.

Today, I see a nation in extreme negotiation to maintain the principles that formed it. We don't need a negotiator, or lawless politicians that say one thing and do another.

We need to roll the dice.. :) .

I think it is time to roll the dice, to use your casino analogy. George Washington had a scared population of over half, that did not want to rock the boat against tyranny.

And he risked everything to give them liberty. His actions lined up with his words and was one of our greatest heroes because he was offered the office of King and gave power to the people.

Lincoln had to stand up to a huge populace that was against the fundamental value of freedom.

And he was a devilishly good lawyer that was able to manipulate Congress into going against their own political will. I disagree that the populace was against the fundamental value of freedom. It was more a matter of State's rights meets individual rights, and a corrupt Supreme Court ruled against the innocent.

Kennedy did not negotiate, when he demanded the removal of soviet missiles.

And Kennedy served on PT109 with honor, saving many lives. He had a record of heroism.

Reagan did not negotiate either... He threatened the soviets with an arm race so great it led to their change of direction.

He switched from the Democrat party to being a conservative and started a tax revolution as Governor that raged for years before he attempted to become President.

Today, I see a nation in extreme negotiation to maintain the principles that formed it. We don't need a negotiator, or lawless politicians that say one thing and do another.

We've got one guy in this race whose actions prove consistently to have done that, and another guys who keeps slandering him, lying about him, even insulting his wife.

I'm looking for someone who has a track record I can trust. Not more empty words from a opportunistic politician.

What has Donald actually done?

We need to roll the dice.. :)

On that we agree

And you didn't see me put them together either. Read that again.

I said he was a devilishly good lawyer.

I said those words Mikey... In some ways you are right. He fought against outright ownership of another human being. That is not fighting for freedom as the present government has done more to make the people... The new class of slaves.
Ted, please stop mincing words...

Not really.

Most Americans don't actually support abortion but are quiet because they don't want to be confrontational or get involved with a controversy. Lincoln was the same way about slavery. It wasn't important to him until he figured out it could be a powerful wedge issue in the battle for States Rights. If a civil war is what it took to stop slavery, then I say "hallelujah!" but don't deceive yourself into thinking Lincoln was a devout abolitionist until it became politically expedient.

He created a way to centralize all power in the Federal Government, and States rights ended. Without that we couldn't have had the Federal Reserve (bad) or National Park System (good).

I give him credit for being a strong leader, able to manipulate the Legislature and Courts into bending/breaking the Constitution until it was too late to go back. That is why he is such a hero to the fascists today.

Ted, THAT WAS A MOST EXCELLENT ARGUMENT!!!!!

As far as the abortion issue... I just don't know. I don't have any right to control a woman's life. So what does that mean of a 4 week old embryo.
Or... Don't drag me there.

Unfortunately it is not "her body" that she is destroying. But on the brighter side, oh, I guess there isn't a bright side. :(
