planet, just for your own research, or to jolt your memory, it was on page 230 of the vampier's these are the last moments in which you can choose thread.. there was a lot of crazy stuff going on, maybe the stars were out of alignment or something.. I look back and see I was getting a rather nasty disposition bringing up a clove of garlic, when I really intended to be in good fun and humour, not wanting to disrupt or dirty vamp's thread, just to inject some fun.. but it backfired..

Dayne, forget all the negative stuff... Thanks for posting such an interesting informative post. I walk into a tobacco shop and I see the prices for some of these pipes. I never realized there was such a wild difference or interest. You just taught me something. I tried to say it before, and someone stepped on my comment. Thanks for sharing such a fun little thing as pipes. Before this thread I thought someone just went to a head shop and plunked down ten bucks for a BONG.

Thanks for sharing Dayne!!!!

thanks Glen, I guess I know a little about pipes, but really just a minimal amount of knowledge, like when jook said a Dunhill, I immediately knew high end from London and the bulldog model is probably the most popular among tobacconists in which I am not.. but it's my job to learn the value of things, and to keep up on trends in value on things, for instance, pitcher and bowl sets are nearly valueless when compared to their value 15 years ago..clam broth lamps you never see them anymore, they have been hoarded to extinction as well as cut glass..seldom if ever comes up.. I don't use a smartphone for help either, it's simply by attending so many auctions the last 17 years or so.. actually attended auctions about every Saturday when on a farm in Iowa in the 1960's-1970's, but only went along cause I had no choice..

Nice painting Dayne. Thanks for going out of your way to post that. Just for the fun of it those little guys are so cute, but wait till they grow up. Most people don't know, and can lead to a problem.
The little guy on the right is probably a "Pot Belly" that has characteristics of a feed hog. Notice the ears are starting to flop over and the longer snout. He may grow to 300 lbs. The other little cutie has straight ears and a shorter snout. Probably less genetic trace of a feed hog. Both will get very large in comparison.

Funny what we learn about something... Even pipes. Smile.
