Took my VR cameras down to do a documentary on what happened in this terrorist attack. I had to redo that film 3 times because I kept getting the sequence wrong. Finally, I found THE spot where the Texan was murdered, and three Americans were stabbed, including a pregnant woman and her husband. Their blood still stains the sidewalk after 3 days.

Once I found the spot, there was a restaurant within 20 feet with a woman standing in front and asked if she saw anything. Turns out, she saw all of it and wanted to tell me about it. So I got a fabulous news documentary from the closest eyewitness. Then I traced the terrorist's steps and found more blood stains where he had stabbed several people on the boardwalk going towards Tel Aviv. I located the small beach area where Yishai Montgomery confronted him with a guitar over the head (and then recorded a commercial for the music store nearby who rewarded him with several new guitars!) and also got the traffic circle where this crazy man ran around stabbing people through the windows of their car.

Through VR I can show you exactly where and how it happened, if you want to know.

I'll be editing it as much as possible tonight...maybe post a clip. I have a music video to do in Jerusalem tomorrow before going to the airport and flying home. The entire documentary will be done within a week.

Then on the way back to my room I got 100+ wind-surfers on the beach! It was a panoramic ocular feast out there today! Then I could see cops and ambulances everywhere in front of my hotel and wondered what the...? There was a car was overturned on it's side about 20 yards from the front door. Not sure how I would have gotten in if it had hit it.

Crazy last day in Tel Aviv. Going to go rock out at Mike's Place one last time. Oh...last night the band played a punk version of "Cotton Eyed Joe" and went into "Uptown Funk You Up" out of it. They were pretty good.

OK, this is very rough...just wanted to post this clip while I spend the next week or two editing the entire documentary about how Taylor Force was murdered by a terrorist in Yafo March 8, 2016. In the finished version, I'll take you along the boardwalk, the beach, the traffic circle and you will see blood stains on the sidewalk that still remain.

Yes, I know this clip looks horrible but that's because I rendered it in lo-fi to be able to upload on this hotel's internet. The final version will look much better and the text will be formatted correctly.

What a cool ending to such a horrific story!!
Still wondering why this guy wasn't shot before he got away with this much carnage?

Need a wind screen on that mike, Ted.
Didn't catch the video on this, just the audio.
Interesting project!! :)

Yeah, I know. The woman started talking as I was plugging in the mic so I just had to run after her before it was ready. I don't have the right software with me for editing this, but it will be much better and the text will be formatted so you can hear and see what she says.

And I go over everything she said later (and quite a bit more) with a good audio source recording. I just wanted to post that to get conversation going on Facebook and it already has 600+ views without any promotion whatsoever.

She did mention that he was a "champion" runner and lots of people were chasing him but he was too fast for them.

Once this documentary is edited (audio, color correction, better editing software, text, titles, etc) it will be an important "first" concept, making it quite popular within the VR community, and maybe I will go visit the local D.A.'s office to get work for depositions in criminal cases?

This would really help jurors understand the layout of a crime scene. Then I could hire a team of people to do that while I go have fun filming something else.

Shot a 3-piece acoustic Israeli band tonight in the middle of a Jerusalem mall. The natural reverb was kinda cool. There weren't many people in this open-air 6-floor mall so seeing the reactions of people on floors higher up might be cool? I'll be happy if one song turns out good...great group but not a lot of light. Won't know until I get home in about 27 hours.
