I downloaded windows 10 as advised. Wished i had never done that! It changed how my desktop operates and I don't like it. I had windows 8 and liked it. I liked using my tile very accessible. First thing I noticed (laptop) is my scrolling bar on the mouse didn't work but I still had my tile even though they were smaller. I updated the new version of itunes as suggested by Microsoft. there was also an update to my computer, now I have No tiles and can't swipe to the corner to pull up control panel ect. what the hell is Cortana? it says ask me anything when I click on that bar I can't type anything it is unresponsive. Any advise will be appreciated .

Everything is now on the lower left of the screen. Your tabs are scrolled from there

I have read very few *good* reviews of W10, lots of 'spying' going on by M/S, that you need to disable. Heard that it uses a lot of RAM (even compared to W8). Also read lots of problems with people using music software/players - resets of sampling speed needed, etc.
The iTunes update early this year was supposed to cripple your ability to load non-iTunes songs into your iPod/Pad/Phone device, so I never installed it.

I learned back in the Pentium 4 days that whenever you "upgrade" your system, you'll have some piece of hardware/software that won't work now, and has to be replaced. I've got a brand new Mac only last July but the new Mac OS update in December messed it up so much that I did the time-machine program to go back to before.

So unless you're trying to get brand new hardware to work, it rarely makes enough difference to justify the hassle of an upgrade.

Hey Jeff, is your band playing in Houston (or anywhere in SE Texas) between Dec 26 to 29?
