The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives provided the information late Thursday in an incident report obtained by The Associated Press. The guns included a 9mm Glock pistol and .40-caliber Smith & Wesson, both traced to the suspect.

He also had a .40-caliber Taurus pistol traced to someone in Portland and a .556-caliber Del-Ton

The article I just read Jimmy says NONE of the weapons used were Automatic weapons. Slacker just explained the difference. To a gun enthusiast Automatic means FULLY AUTOMATIC. Semi-Automatic only fires as fast as you can pull the trigger.

More guns in the U.S. than anywhere else and more homicides, gun violence, and mass shootings than anywhere else in the world.

Wake up people. It's NOT a coincidence!

Guys, the 2nd Amendment has been around for 239 years now. When America was a mostly Christian country, that promoted a noble morality, we didn't have these problems. When America became a humanist & socialist state with welfare liberals getting elected...we started having these problems.

Coincedence?

We have a "heart" problem in America, not a "gun" problem. Destroying the Constitutional rights of 300,000,000 Americans is NOT the answer. Ending liberalism, and the morality they have forced upon us, is. Kids are being raised to believe that there is no God, and therefore there is no reason to be a moral person. Our current President has taught them to never take responsibility for your own evil actions...blame someone else and you keep on confusing those who do play the rules, and showing that having integrity only handcuffs an ambitious person. He is an example of playing dirty, breaking any rule that gets in the way of his own lust for power, bullying people, lying, cheating, and ridiculing those you've dishonestly beaten into submission.

Do you think that your kids don't notice you wink at it? Heck, you VOTED for him (and Gore, and Kerry, and Clinton, and Carter, and LBJ, etc) so it is YOUR fault that this happened in Oregon, Colorado, Connecticut, and every other place where it is sure to continue if we don't do a 180 in our elected leaders.

I'm voting for Pedro. He will make all my wildest dreams come true.

Jimmy, it wasn't shoddy reporting. It was intentional and agenda driven! You have said yourself you want gun control and sadly the media agrees with you.

Aren't you the one who is always criticizing them for being idiots? That is confirmation, bro! But they are only as stupid as the other media calling for the same thing.

HERE ARE REPORTS FROM THE PEOPLE OF ROSENBURG, OREGON

From a teacher at ‪#‎UCC‬
ENOUGH!!! I teach at UCC and I am tired of people making what happened here about guns. I don't care what side of the issue you fall on, because it doesn't really matter. It could have just as easily been a bomb, or stabbings, or poison, or any other number of things. Whatever the delivery was, it is just a symptom... we need to go deeper.
The real issue has to do with values. And I don't care what your religious leanings are right now either... I am talking about basic values like belonging, commitment, family, kindness, pride, self-control, love, and respect (to name just a few). This is what we need to be: Better parents- it starts in the home. Better teachers- as role models and mentors. Better neighbors- looking out for and helping your community. Better friends- who aren't afraid to go deeper and ask the harder questions. Better citizens- who don't avert our eyes from the needs we see around us.
In many respects, WE are the problem. Nothing we do can change what happened, but we can stop it from happening again. And that means that we need to stop making it someone else's responsibility to model and instill these values into our society. We need to be that change that our country so desperately needs.
So please stop talking about guns and a shooter. Start talking about what you and I can do to change the real problem.

Mr. President. I was on campus today at 10:38 a.m.. I was in lockdown for the better part of three hours. The victims of this shooting—they're my friends, my peers, and my teachers. This is my home. None of us want to hear about how this is a result of a failure on the part of the American people to pass gun control laws. All we want is for you to send us your prayers and to tell us that you're standing strong with us. Support us. Please. We need it.

Dear World,
Before yesterday most of you had never heard of the city of Roseburg. Now when you hear that name you will link us to the tragedy that happened on our small community college campus yesterday. That is not who we are. We are not here to provide an argument for your agenda or to be on a horrible list somewhere. We are here because Roseburg is our home and that is the one thing about us that can't be changed.

---------------------

(Breitbart) – Residents in Roseberg, Oregon, are rallying around the Second Amendment in the wake of the heinous attack on Umpqua Community College (UCC), suggesting the attack itself is proof of why citizens need to be armed for self-defense.

According to the Associated Press, Roseberg is a mill town surrounded by hunting and fishing opportunities, and one where many residents say they do not leave home without a handgun for self-defense. They do not carry because crime is high, but because crime is low and they want to keep it that way.

Consequently, residents like J.C. Smith believe the attack at UCC was made possible by the fact that the school denied the exercise of Second Amendment rights to its students. Smith suggests that “barring people from carrying guns on campus made it particularly vulnerable to a ‘lone wolf’ attack” like the one witnessed Thursday.

Casey Runyan, a disabled Marine, said he carries to protect himself and pointed to the UCC attack as proof of the need to be ready to do so. Runyan said he carries a Glock handgun “everywhere he goes.” He added, “All my friends agree with me. That’s the only kind of friends I have.”

Roseberg sits in Douglas County, where Sheriff John Hanlin drew attention to himself by fighting an expansion of gun control in 2014. He fought hard against expanded background checks–gun control’s Trojan Horse–even sending a letter to Vice President Joe Biden expressing his conviction that the laws being pushed were “offending the constitutional rights of [Douglas County] citizens.”

On October 2–the day after the heinous attack on UCC–Sheriff Hanlin made clear that his views remained the same and gun control is not the solution to stopping attacks like the one carried out in Roseberg.

We used to be taught the golden rule and the Pledge of Allegiance in public school. Now it's about social media, reality TV and celebrities. America has lost her way.. This country is lacking compassion, respect for human life, and general love for others. . We're too busy pointing fingers to realize this is the evil we have created and cultivated as "fame". We have become the definition of insane. Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Wake up America.. Talk to your kids. Acknowledge and respect your neighbors. Encourage communication and problem solution. Stop ignoring each other. Stop making excuses for harmful behavior. Stop blaming everyone else but yourself. God be with these families and friends. They need all the love and support they can get during this horrific act of evil. God has a plan and a way and He won't give us more then we can handle if we seek Him. ‪#‎IAmUCC‬

You're contradicting yourself. Evolution is a fairy tale.

Religion will NEVER be taught in public schools.

Proving my point exactly. Thanks.

The principles were taught back when America was great. It was Christians who started public education, btw. Prayer was even done every morning from 1513 until 1966. This is the result of pushing any faith in God from public life. We are reaping what we have sown, and until Americans recognize that this is the problem, it will only get worse.

It's simple to do the research and find that nations who allow Christians to exercise their faith in public don't have these problems...but, of course, that would prove you wrong... so please close your eyes a little tighter.
