Blacks Revolt Against their Democrat Slave Masters

NBC is reporting that Democrat/Socialist “presidential candidate Bernie Sanders left a campaign event in Seattle without giving his speech Saturday after ‘black lives matter’ activists took over the podium.”

This isn’t the first time that Black Lives Matter protesters have protested racial inequality by going after so-called Progressive candidates. “On July 18, Sanders tried to address a crowd of roughly 3,000 at the Netroots Nation event in Phoenix, but many of the protesters shouted at him and disrupted his remarks.”

What’s going on here? For decades, black voters have been used by the Democrat Party to empower fat-cat Democrat politicians. Trillions of dollars in wealth transfer payments have done little to advance black living standards, teenage employment, or educational standards.

BLM

Giving money to people is not the way to advance an economy. It takes the incentive and the need to work out of the employment equation. It’s not just Blacks who have been duped by the Democrat Party. Poor whites have been similarly victimized.

President Lyndon Johnson’s War on Poverty has been a War on the Poor:

“In his January 1964 State of the Union address, President Lyndon Johnson proclaimed, ‘This administration today, here and now, declares unconditional war on poverty in America.’ In the 50 years since that time, U.S. taxpayers have spent over $22 trillion on anti-poverty programs. Adjusted for inflation, this spending (which does not include Social Security or Medicare) is three times the cost of all U.S. military wars since the American Revolution. Yet progress against poverty, as measured by the U.S. Census Bureau, has been minimal, and in terms of President Johnson’s main goal of reducing the ‘causes’ rather than the mere ‘consequences’ of poverty, the War on Poverty has failed completely. In fact, a significant portion of the population is now less capable of self-sufficiency than it was when the War on Poverty began.”

If those trillions of dollars had not been taken from income earners, the money would have been saved and let out, invested, and spent. We would have had full employment, competition for workers resulting in higher wages, and self-respect. Instead we have a multi-generational dependent class that no longer knows what it means to be free.

Look at this chart on the poorest United States cities and note that they are controlled and run by Democrats.

Poorest city chart

The liberal chickens have come home to roost. The problem is, those who are leading the Black Lives Matter screed are equally clueless about economics. It’s my guess that they will push for even more wealth redistribution and drive the falling future of many blacks further away from prosperity and a slice of the American dream.

Bernie is actually ahead of Hillary in a New Hampshire poll.. I don't know who the blacks will support this time.. they do not have many choices.. since Ben Carson is a Republican and quite successful materialistically and he would surely shut many social programs down if he gets in.. Hillary is sinking fast cause of her email fiasco, and doubt if many inner city blacks would have much in common with her million dollars a pop speech income.. I just don't know who the blacks have for a candidate that will stick up for their needs.. Trump is a left of center politician maybe they should consider..??

Obviously you do not live in a heavily populated Latino community. They are taking over cities and have many in America where English isn't even a second language. Maybe you should ask Jeff or anyone from Texas of California or even Nebraska how the Latino assimilation is working out. You truly do believe all the leftist propaganda from Pravda, don't you.? Do you have even a clue that illegal immigration is brought on by big corporations that you claim to hate and politicians who want the illegal vote? This is Barackula's intent to divide and conquer America more than anything else.

Why are Latinos not assimilating?

http://www.hispanicresearch.com/index.p ... similating

The proverbial Melting Pot where all immigrants assimilated into one American society is no longer applicable. When other big immigration groups came into this country a few generations ago the situation was very different from what it is today. Many early immigrants made the hard decision to come to America with an understanding that they were breaking ties with their old country. Learning a new culture and a new language was not a choice. Our society was a true melting pot and immigrants were expected to fully assimilate into the American culture- but things have changed. Today the term Salad Bowl is often used as a substitute for the Melting Pot. In a salad you may have different ingredients tossed together to form a perfect combination; but the ingredients maintain their differences and do not blend into the mix.

Assimilation no longer works because our society is different now from what it was before. New immigrants today can easily maintain close ties with their home country through Internet connections, telephone communication, and accessible travel. They are also able to have access to their cultural heritage and language through product and service offerings that are targeted to the Latino community. The idea of diversity and maintaining one's heritage has become very important in the American culture and works against the assimilation tendency.

“U.S. Hispanics need to learn to speak English! Says who?

Many people get very upset when they hear of someone who has been in this country for years and does not speak any English; and the failure to learn English appears to be increasingly more prevalent among Hispanics. It seems to be an issue that strikes a chord with many Americans. “Why are they not making an effort to learn to speak English like all other immigrants did?” I venture to say that the main reason why many Latinos are not learning English as fast as others did before is because our society no longer requires it. That’s right; my contention is that, as a society, we give Latinos permission to keep their culture and language; and consequently, learning English becomes much more difficult than what other immigrants experienced years ago.

When other big immigration groups came into this country a few generations ago the situation was very different from what it is today. Many early immigrants made the hard decision to come to America with an understanding that they were breaking ties with their old country. Learning a new culture and a new language was not a choice. Our society was a true melting pot and immigrants were expected to fully assimilate into the American culture. They complied. Ever wonder why the children and grandchildren of the Italian immigrants who arrived at Ellis Island in the late 1800s never learned how to speak Italian? These early immigrants understood the importance of becoming American in every respect; and that included speaking only English. Speaking Italian was not important; in fact, it was detrimental in a society that expected assimilation- but things have changed; and assimilation is no longer expected. We are no longer melting into one pot because we no longer believe in that antiquated idea of the melting pot.

It amazes me how the same people who are troubled when everyone around them is speaking Spanish will turn to me and remark on how “important” it is that I teach my children Spanish. “You should speak Spanish to them at home,” they will say. While I wholeheartedly agree that it is important for Latinos to teach their children how to speak Spanish, I want to emphasize that this was never important before. The American society now understands that we live in a multicultural world and that knowing more than one language is beneficial. Our society now also supports (and even exalts) diversity. It is now considered appropriate to uphold and celebrate diversity, especially when it comes to culture and ethnicity. Forcing everyone to melt into one homogeneous pot is no longer considered appropriate.

While our country was founded on the idea of diversity, the practice of diversity was never as alive as it is today. With diversity comes not only permission to speak the language of our ancestors, but also the empowerment to maintain every aspect of our ethnicity. The American society promotes this understanding at many different levels. At a commercial level Latinos see most product labels and instructions written in English and Spanish; ATM machines ask us for our language of preference; and telephone companies insist that we keep in touch with our relatives in Latin America. From a government perspective most services are also offered and/or communicated in Spanish. At a community level there are hundreds of neighborhoods across the country were everyone speaks Spanish. Can someone in one of these neighborhoods get along perfectly well without ever having to learn English? Absolutely! Our society allows it.

We cannot as a society promote diversity and the use of the Spanish language and then wonder why some Latinos are having difficulty learning English. Everyone knows that it is much easier to learn a foreign language when you live in a foreign country and are immersed in a society that only speaks that language. In our society we speak English; but we also speak Spanish. For some Latinos learning English while living in a neighborhood where everyone speaks Spanish is akin to an American student taking a foreign language in school and not grasping it because nobody around them speaks that language. We need to stop pretending that our society expects Latinos to speak English when everything is laid out to make it easy for these new immigrants not to learn the language.

NOTE: Please do not take this opinion to mean that I do not feel that Hispanics should learn the English language. I believe that speaking English in our society is extremely important and encourage everyone in our Latino community to make every effort to learn the language. Being able to speak English opens the door to a myriad of new opportunities for success and pa

consider me cued. 8)

The real scandal is that in the last four decades somebody decided to change the demographics in this country. Nobody bothered to ask us if a) we wished that to happen, and b) did we wish to support it with our tax dollars.

There is only so much room on the roads. Only so much infrastructure. Only so much water - a little shout out to my friends in California!

I don't like crowds and I don't like traffic. The racism response to that is twaddle. Man for man I'll take Mexicans over Euros. I just don't want to be drowned in either.

Bringing over Muslims from places like Yugo, Iraq, Syria and Somalia is stupid at a level that should feature in Riply's. Gee, aren't we fighting wars in those places. Is it just possible we might be bringing the wars to our doorstep?
