Hello All,

I am from Fort Worth, Texas. I am moving to Toronto this summer, (probably end of June.) I JUST found this site, and it's midnight here, so I'll have more music up and an account upgrade very soon. If you have a moment, please take a look at my page. And if you have any advice, ideas, etc... shoot 'em to me!

Peace,
Crystal Casey

Welcome to the forum. I anxiously await your musical posts, since your influence list is so....full? Impressive!

Best of luck in Toronto.

Thanks Monkey Wench (great name!) Yeah... I'm kind of a maniac when it comes to "influences." How do I decide who really has influenced me most? Too many tough decisions lead to very long lists! Hopefully I'll have music up an running later today. Thanks again for the reply!

How nice of you to say! I'll be back around though for visits... can't leave my Mema and my Texas buddies for EVER! ;) I'll always be a Funky Town girl at heart! I am looking forward to a gun-free world, though, I must say! (Recently, I took my Canadian fiance to a gun show, and he nearly had a panic attack! I was pretty nervous too.. handguns and rifles are one thing... military assault rifles is a totally different story! And there were folks payin' CASH for these things and just walkin out with them! I've been here all my life, and I've still never seen anything like it. And they wonder why the drug wars are spilling over into the states! HAHA!)

Oh no you didnt?
I sell and repair guns for a living.
From my cold dead hands !!!

You can live in a world where only evil bastards have guns.
I'll pass, thank you!

Traitor!!!

As good as Austin's scene is, Toronto might be better. Definitely more international. Only problem is that it's in Canada.

Do you have a melody you can sing into a recorder? Do that and then figure out the chords to what you did. It will get easier the more you do it.

The only way to get experience is to DO IT. Go grab a book of poems and try to write some music to them.

BTW, activating a 5-year-old thread, non-related, in the Canada section of the forums isn't a very good start!

It's one of the generic ones available from BM
