Looking for a vocal to start an electro disco/post-punk band - groove oriented, simplistic in terms of structure and lyrics and with enough room for experimentation.

Looking for a vocalist who:
- has a good sense of rhythm
- is comfortable with singing-reciting repetitive phrases
- likes loose structure and improvisation
- is comfortable with the minimalist aesthetic
- is willing to experiment with effects.

The sound is influenced by different kinds of music: electro, post-punk, punk disco, rock'n'roll, funk, afro-funk, garage rock, dub, blues and whatever is stripped down, raw, unrefined and mentally intriguing.

So if you happen to like danceable stuff with a sense of weirdness and controlled noise and have both affinity for electronic and guitar influenced music, you might be interested in the sound we are currently working on.

At this point we are a band of two - bassist and electronic noise-rhythm maker. I do electronics (beats, percussions, synths, effects and play with some other noisy stuff) in Ableton and create a background for some intriguing stuff to come on top.

If you're interested in bands like Suicide, Cabaret Voltaire, Au Pairs, Bush Tetras (on the 80's side) and TV Baby, Tristesse Contemporaine, Sleaford Mods or Prinzhorn Dance School (more contemporary), this might be interesting for you. If not, take a listen because it makes sense to get in touch only if you're into that kind of aesthetic.

If you ever liked the simplicity and the aesthetic of: NY No-Wave scene (ESG, Suicide. Lydia Lunch, James Chance, Contortions, Liquid Liquid, Maximum Joy, Bush Tetras...), UK Post-Punk-New Wave (Au Pairs, Gang of Four, Public IMAGE Limited, 23 Skidoo, Joy Division, A Certain Ratio, , Siouxie and The Banshees, Bauhaus, The Creatures, Cabaret Voltaire,...), German Kraut Rock (repetitive, minimalistic Can, Faust, Kraftwerk...), electronic (Leftfield, Chemical Brothers, Propellerheads, Underworld, Tricky, Uberzone, Miss Kittin, Crystal Method,...) or similar aesthetic - chances are high you will be interested in this project.

If you have any samples of what you did (do) to send, that would be cool.
