My name is Chris, I am the new manager of a Modern Music School in Tsawwassen. We are currently in the process of building the school and our business should start beginning of April 2017. Modern Music School is a franchise that originated in Germany before it expanded into Europe and the US. Hours are flexible, mostly in the afternoon and evening. Lessons are between 30-60 minutes long, mostly group lessons. Teachers get paid 40% of fee. Because the modern music school franchise is famous for their teaching philosophy (including group lessons) teachers tend to make more money working for us than other regular music schools. Teachers work as independent contractors.
As a focal point, the Modern Music School teaches rock and pop music for children, teens, and adults, whether for a hobby or preparation for a professional career. The instrumental instruction for drums, bass, electric and acoustic guitar, piano, keyboard, and vocals is rounded out through the band program. Nothing surpasses the pride of students and teachers when they really rock for the first time on stage!
We are looking for professionally trained musicians who are interested in teaching music at our school in Tsawwassen. Through our training, they will be highly qualified in people skills, methodology, and musicality. The franchisor checks the competence of every new member of the teaching team. And through the extensive training and seminars, their continual training is assured. Through this, we want to ensure the highest quality of music education in the entire system, but above all, this ensures the enjoyment, enthusiasm, and satisfaction of our students and their parents.
