Are you a young, emerging solo musician or band? Do you live near the Collingwood/Barrie area? Then Quarter Century Theatre has just what you need to get your music career off the ground!
We are Collingwood's premiere contemporary theatre company and we are hosting our very own Battle of the Bands this December to raise our profile and support local musicians and bands in our area.
The winning band will have the opportunity to choose between our two grand prizes--a brand new electric guitar generously donated by the Spaulding School of Music OR a professional music video recording for an original song. Get your band off the ground or take it to the next level with the help of QCT!
Our Battle will be held at the Collingwood Legion on December 29th, 2016. Eight bands will have the chance to dazzle their fans and our judges with three songs before the top three will move on to the Sudden Death Final. One last song. One last chance to clinch their victory!
We are accepting applications until November 4th, so get yours in today! From there, we will log every band that registers into our online poll. From Nov 5-Dec 5, each band must promote themselves and get as many votes as possible through our poll. The eight bands with the highest scores will be the eight competitors in our Battle, so like, share, follow and tweet your band all the way into the winner's circle!
