Hi there,
I don't know if you know the German ct magazine, but they are currently running a remix context with the canadian dance rockers Easton Ellises. I thought it might be worth mentioning that I would like to try this context only with an Android device and uFXloops. uFXloops is a sample-based music workstation for the Android - and it is free. Of course you could choose your tool of choice, you are not bound to uFXloops.
ct magazine provides all stems (dry / wet, completely separated tracks for vocals, guitar, drums,... and already cut samples). You have the choice between two original songs: 1) Falcon and 2) Sex, Drugs, Rock'n Roll.
You can find more info here: https://www.ufxloops.com and http://www.heise.de/ct/artikel/c-t-Remi ... 42427.html.
By getting into that, I would be glad, if we find more people to join the uFXloops community and finding out that uFXloops is the tool of choice for quick recording, mashup, arrangement and remixing of songs on the Android.
Cheers
Ed
