30 year old male bassist looking to join or start a live hip hop band. I currently play in hip-hop freestyle jams sessions once a month, but everyone is only doing for fun. I want to be more committed - collaborate on beats, practice weekly, record, gig, etc.
Would need a good hip-hop drummer (not a rock drummer) with good time, keys, guitarist, DJ, and of course a good MC.
I'm thinking that there's not too many musicians who want to do this, but a lot of MC's. It may be better to come up with a good band that mixes well and has a deep groove, and then we can audition MC's, choose our favourite, and go from there.
Anyone interested?
