Pre-audtion this way is a good way to save some wasted time. You ar right about so many profiles having no audio or video samples available - and as many with no contact info, either. Mostly Wannabes.

I"m not into auditions at all.
If you want a tape I will simply play 5or 6 of my best numbers, a little schreding ,but what does tell you ?
live auditions are the only way to go, as for a band I have never played an audition in over 30 years.
