Hi there, I've started a band here in Vancouver called LingoVivo ... i'd like to ask your opinion about 2 things 1) what do you think of the name LingoVivo and 2) has anyone used indigogo to help you get started on your own musical venture[url]

Being a founding member of the former band NOISY KUNG FU it is probably not my place to critique your band name.
Being as you's asked, my first thought was "what the hell does that mean".
I have no knowledge of the online service you mentioned.

"what the hell does that mean?" could be good i guess... better than "that sux". actually "That SuX" might be a good name.

What does LINGOVIVO actually mean or represent?
Vivo = Video In Video Out?
Lingo = Language ?
Language Video In Video Out?
Is it Fast Language? Is it Live Language?
With a combination of foreign language and slang, I can turn that about any way I wish to get my own translation...that might not be good.
Reminds me of "vive la difference".

you are on the right track scott ... lingo = slang for "language", vivo = latin for "living" cuz english learning apps will be on the Lingovivo site . did you check out the indiegogo link in my first post? were you aware of that service on the net?
re : band names , many names are senseless yet it doesn't stop them from being a success , like Foo Fighters .... what the hell is foo?

Foo is short for Kung fu.
Generally applied by those of dubious training, total lack of real skills and or respect.
