Indie Singer Songwriter Competition

We are casting a new Web music series and competition for Toronto and Southern Ontario singer songwriters. Applicants will be videoed auditioning their original song (no covers). The videos will be presented on the Internet by our client who has access to 200,000 regular site visitors who will vote for their favorite song. The winner will have their song professionally produced and released as a free download on our client’s site(s).
The artist will receive a copy of the finished recording that they can use as they wish. The winner will also be videoed in a promotional video being interviewed and performing. The video will be used on the sites to promote the winner who will also receive a copy of the video for their own promotional use. A new competition will be held every eight weeks.
This is a great opportunity for Indie singer songwriters to expand their reputations, build an international following, and receive a professional produced single and video that they can use for their own promotional purposes. Each applicant that is accepted will be required to sign a release granting permission to present the song and video and allow it to be downloaded for free from the client’s sites.
Interested artists should send their headshot, resume, and demo to info@mrpwebmedia.com. Those accepted for an audition will receive further instructions as to time and date.
