Since 9/11 things have changed @ the US border - used to be we would book a gig at a club in the states - they in turn would bond the group over for the day of the event - we'd pack our gear after obtaining green cards from Canada Customs for the equipment we were bringing for the return trip, and that was it. no problem going in either direction. Last time I asked about current procedures, I got the third degree, thought they were going to dismantle my vehicle. US musicians don't seem to have this problem coming into Canada. Can some one enlighten me as to the the current, proper procedure for playing state side if your a Canadian?
