I seem to have a typical problem - no response from the e-mails I have sent. Drummers! Please respond - we have a good opportunity for a decent sticksman!

Well, you can rest easy that someone will respond to your forum posts, at the very least!

Best of luck in finding that drummer, but do keep in mind that, although many ppl consider them to be musicians, few drummers out there can actually read! heh heh heh

I love bashing the drummers! At least once a practice my drummer looks at me & says "good one," after I've given him the ol' verbal jab. Good thing I found one with a sense of humor, eh? (He usually gets me on something, as well, so it's all good!) Friendly banter abounds!

Richard - dude! Put up a music track on your post. Give the ppl something to hear to see if they WANNA play with you. That might help.

Best o' luck & welcome to the forum.

Hello Richard and Phil,
I hope this doesn't come over as ganging up, but I agree with Phil; I can't imagine any drummer worth having, being too interested in making arrangements to go miles to play... well, just something.
Yes I know we take the micky out of our drummers for just having to sit there hitting things with sticks, but they are of course just as serious about the music they play, and to hear the kind of music they will be holding together and complimenting must surely be the first step?

In placing some songs on site you will also have one of us who listens to it thinking... "yes I know someone who would fit with that really well"; probably lives on the Isle of Wight but that's just another bridge to cross later!
