So as the title says, I am a vocalist located in Birmingham. I'm 29 years old and very commited.
I am an alto singer, and I love a melodic kinda dark vibe to the songs but also heavy.
I write lyrics, sing my own melodies, and also can help with production easily.
I am addicted to Kamelot, Katatonia, Anathema, Conception, Serenity, Seventh Wonder, Dream Theater, Nightwish, Delain, Xandria, Ayreon, Therion, Riverside and so many others. But mostly symphonic metal, and whatever sounds great for the ears.

My intro for a song that I did for my band(ALio Gaia) called Hunting Shadows - Lyrics, voice melody, sounds by me.

Symphonic metal and Visual Kei metal get some talk around here but most of the talk is regarding how no one can find enough players get a band together or even find a small scene that would support these bands.
Just to let you know, these classified ads here on the forum rarely work. You'll have to search for players by utilizing the search function on your Bandmix profile. Good luck!

Yeah I know, but I keep on trying ya know? I am so annoyed that I can't make a band in Birmingham, symphonic metal or progressive :(

you need to join or start a facebook group for this genre. that's what moves the needle these days. I talk to a lot of folks with similar interest on there all day. someone comes here hoping to talk about music, they're scared off by the political posts soon enough.
