Cambridge Rock Band need a 13-18 year old bass player
Posted: Sun Sep 25, 2016 7:09 pmAs a result of Stormdreamer bass-player Sam sadly leaving the band to focus on studies etc the band are looking for a replacement bass-player. We would therefore be pleased to hear from anyone within the age range 13-18 living in Cambridge or surrounding villages who would be interested in joining the band to fill this role.
(Please note I am the parent of one of the band-members and co-manage them with two other parents).
As Stormdreamer have played approximately 30 gigs to date it is anticipated that further gigs will follow and therefore anyone filling the role should be prepared to play in front of an audience. The style of music played by the band has primarily been “rock” and although this is likely to remain key to their style moving forward it would be interesting to see how other influences and genres might impact on their music.

Anyone interested in filling the role should post a Facebook message to the band who will then arrange for an audition. At the audition the potential new member would be expected to play a couple of songs with the band.
Ability and willingness to provide some backing vocals now and then would be an advantage, although not crucial.
