Can't find a singer!!!

Been finding it hard to get reliable local singer to demo my original material.
Tried all the usual adverts (Gumtree etc.) but not much luck. Not looking for the world's greatest singer just someone who could do a better job than my embarrassing efforts.
Currently working with a professional composer on a new musical but also working on my own contemporary musical.
Anyone local to Tunbridge Wells would be good.
Must be someone out there that fits the bill!
