Are you a band in the Coventry area looking for an open mic with suitable stage room and PA? Are you a solo act that wants to sound their best with skilled and sympathetic sound engineering? Join us at a new monthly open-mic starting Thursday 19th May, at the Heart of England Social Club, Meriden from 8.30 – 11.00. Monthly open-mics will continue on the third Thursday of each month. Anyone who wants to come along and strut their stuff will be welcome - from solo singers to full bands.

Run by folk-pop band Alchemista, the usual sort of routine will apply, e.g. sign up for a slot on arrival (usually 3 songs), Alchemista will start the evening with three songs then it’s over to you. You’ll get a quick sound check, you’ll be announced on and off, and we’ll be on-hand at all times to support you and make sure that it’s a positive experience.

Drum kit available for bands. Plenty of space on stage.
