We are an experienced, professional and highly accomplished function/covers band playing a wide variety of popular music from the last 60 years. We focus predominantly on weddings, corporate functions and events where a top quality covers band is required. Our current line up is Drums, Bass, Keys, Lead Guitar, Rhythm/Acoustic Guitar and Sax with a lead vocalist and backing vocals. The successful individual will be replacing our current keyboard player.
We are a tight, well-rehearsed group that focuses on quality, quantity and variety, but most importantly providing highly entertaining performances. Typically we perform up to 3 hours of music across an evening.
We cover most genres of popular music from the last 60 years including Rock and Roll, British Rock, US Rock, Funk, Soul, Blues and Pop and we are always adding to and refreshing our roster of songs
Current rehearsals are once a week, on a Thursday evening, near Stansted, Essex.
Must Haves:
Own instrument(s)/Equipment
Own, reliable vehicle
Capable with Piano, Electric Piano, Hammond, Strings, Brass and Synth parts as required
Commitment to attend rehearsals weekly and learn current repertoire as well as new songs
No ego’s – we are a relaxed and friendly band
Nice to Haves:
Ability to sing (backing vocals predominantly)
Additional abilities with other instruments
Experience using In-Ear Monitoring
Willing to embrace technology and work with backing tracks to enhance performance
Contribute with seeking out bookings and commitment to promoting the band
