Country rock band formation - Lead singer with 25 years of live and touring experience and want to do something a lil bit country rock. Yes I can play acoustic guitar to a reasonable standard but I would rather be out front rocking up the crowd and getting everybody off their feet. You cant do that behind a guitar and I want to do the one job and concentrate on being amazing at that.

My influences are modern day country artists like Jason Aldean, Brad Paisley, Zac Brown, Dirks Bently, Eric Church, Eli young band, Rodney atkins, Brantley gilbert and chris young.

What I’m looking for is like minded musicians who have a Good standard of musicianship - lead guitar, steel player, fiddle, bass player and drums all with vocal ability would be great. Especially Female musicians as it would also be cool to share solos and then we can do duets like lady Ant and Band Perry to name but a few.

The most important part of this little project is having fun and playing a genre of music that is on the rise especially in the UK thanks to shows like Nashville etc and festivals like Country2Country The band needs to have a sense of fun, but commitment to practice and the ability to work together as a group is very important also for me personally everyone must have a say into how future gigs and sets are put together.

This could be a full stage show or something simple and organic I have some clever ideas for graphics and video which can be displayed on screens behind us a little some thing different from other cover bands ala brad paisley and his cartoon graphic ideas which were an inspiration to this whole thing.

So if you are up for some seriously country rock fun, drop me a line I also have a contact in London who wants to offer country bands a regular slot to do this and get paid at the same time.

I am looking for a good set of modern country plus a few classics from george, Johnny and maybe some old alabama. It would be great to start rehearsals at the end of May with a view to putting on a opening gig at the end of summer, that will allow us to showcase some future gigs ,festivals, function organisers and promoters basically people who would like something new in their venues.

This is a fun , professional project and a have a mate who can cut us a good rate on studios space so if there is anything else drop me a line.

Thanks for reading ya’ll

She is 29 and grew up with Country and Rock and Roll music.

I'd be up for this. I'm primarily a rock guitarist but I'm a huge Brad Paisley fan and would love an excuse to hone my country chops in a working band. Where are you based and how far do you visualise travelling for gigs? Where would rehearsals be held?
