The Alnwick Garden is a world class visitor attraction with around 300, 000 people attending every year; and leader in contemporary garden excellence. We are seeking acoustic instrumentalists of all styles (including vocal groups) to become garden buskers. You can keep 100% of money taken. You must be committed, reliable and able to offer around 20 - 30 different pieces of music (which you can repeat) throughout the day. Number of days, hours and times etc are to be agreed. Are you actually going to pay these people for benefiting your business or are they totally dependent on the generosity of the public ?

Sounds like its 'no guaranteed pay'. And no way to contact them ...

It's just an invitation to busk...maybe they wrote the invite a little more verbosely than normally but most every situation has to be interpreted in the end anyway, right?

At least they won't chase you away, that much is evident.

As stated above this opportunity is for people who are happy to, interested in and able to 'busk'. The organisation is a charitable trust and we welcome people from all over the world. The people who currently busk are very happy with the results, reactions, exposure and money they make.
