To use this place best, you need to put some tunes on your profile, even if they are covers with an old band. People want to hear what you can do. ALso, make sureyour contact info is available (you can put an email address in like mrbass AT yahoo dot com, otherwise it will not be shown).
Perseverance is needed to find others!

Ohh I know what you mean...I'm a noodler and a Rock hero wanna be...But I hide it very well with my day job, family and community obligations...
I have often wondered what I would look like, if i were lady Gaga...

Yep, this site and many like it is full of the "special people". I reckon half the muso's I've met or contacted in the past are a waste of time and forget the balance between taking and giving. Hang in there dude, don't rely on the web, use it as a tool only, jam with some guys, even the ones that may not seem right (though be honest with them if it's a time filler...makes it easier to go elsewhere), it can be a way to open up some doors. If you've got a local muso shop, take an ad down, ya never know.

I think there is a forgotten artistry too. Today the noodlers (love that term, btw) are all trying to stroke their own 8 inches of ego rather than trying to reach out to someone else's intellect.
