Musician Forum - Band Discussion Board - BandMix

Hi everyone
First time on here.
I have been playing for a few years now ( rhythm guitar) and can now play and sing loads of songs, but I only ever jam on my own and it is getting a little boring now. I would love to be in a band but I never seem to know anyone who needs a rhythm player who can sing. I am 42 and live in Durham England and my taste in music is almost everything apart from metal. Help needed from you Guys already in bands, what did you do to find each other?.
