Musician Forum - Band Discussion Board - BandMix

Ok, so i've been in seperate groups that have won a couple of battle of the bands in and around my home town (Haverhill) and i've just come out of college after doing a course in musical performance, Grade 7 test coming soon...
But I was thinking how big a deal is any of this? i'm not so sure, any thoughts or experiences about musical achievements and future goals?

My experience has been they are like a meat market, no one is really interested in real talent just whether they can make money out of you.
Oh and you have to be young and atractive.
