Been Screaming for about 3 years now and i's say we have opposite problems , You hold your Roars really really nicely , but as said before there's not much Emphasis on certain points or really any pitch changes besides One.

Considering some of the bands out there , if this black Metal Feel is all you'll be doing you'll probably be fine but if you want to stretch into other Genre's of Hardcore you'll want to improve your' range.

Also this goes to both you and to Daniel Towsley, If the purpose of uploading these is to show how well you Growl, Don't add filters/Fx [especially not reverb] , however, I do understand that as a song you're heavily inclined to.

Thats my criticism, hope it was constructive.

On a few lighter notes.
A) This is my First Post!!!
B) Glad to see other Screamers On Here. Was worried I'd be alone XD
C) Your' Band Sounds AWESOME! Like proper professional about to get signed awesome !!! ;D

Why withhold filters (Ie Reverb) on the growl? Just asking?

It's more of a personal opinion to be honest, I just feel that , like i said, if the purpose is to display how you scream or how well you scream, Then filters and fx get it the way. In the same way that you wouldn't say "How's my singing" and then autotune your voice.

That being said i do recognize that the upload was a song and i have nothing against reverb etc. being used then =)

Hope this all makes sense , totally fried from exams 0_0

I guess you don't see brown -eye to eye too easily... heh!

Tbh, it's not something I'd want to listen to now because I'm just too damn ancient but I'd have loved this when I was (a lot) younger. I do worry about your voice though if you plan to perform long-term and I think the issue is mainly whether this is the natural way your voice sounds when you open your mouth to sing or whether you have to strain to acquire the sound. Either way, it might be worth looking into some formal training techniques - not to make yourself sound like Pavarotti, but to protect your vocal cords for the future. Good luck![/i] (And I'm voting yes.)
