I assume you need to wait for the Admin to open up that ability for you. I see that after being here for over 6 years you don't have any music on your profile. Or videos linked (just a mention that would make people go searching you out on youtube). People are lazy - if you don't give them enough to interest, they move on, they don't go searching.

Party pooper! If you were in the states, that instrument would be opening doors for you, constantly. Dust off that passport.

He plays PSG very nicely.

Videos don't show up in hte profile view when I look at 'em from work. Is true Country music popular in the UK? Most US new-country (ie pop) doesn't make much use of pedal steel these days.

Good luck, John.
I believe this site is a joke, as well. I don't see myself ever handing them a dollar.
Am I part of the problem? Sure, I can admit it. I'm someone who put up a profile without samples of my own music. SHOCKER!
I think the way the administration of this site leaves this forum to the tender mercies of 15 trolls is another sign that they clearly lack the judgement of an organization that deserves my money.
You should try Ohm Studio. I think you could find a country singer on there.
I would definitely love some of your "steel" on my tracks, but I would be embarrassed asking you to stuff it in an envelope (on a cassette) and mail it to me.

Thanks for the offer. I'm pretty far from that level. I need to make a cover tune in the style of Buck Owens, too. Dang!

Schmed- you call this site a joke, but admit you don't play out live at all. Well, of course that's what the premium service is here for - putting gigging/playing musicians together.

John - the link to request the 3 free contacts is up on top of the page of your profile when you sign in - maybe it disappears after a couple of days when you complete the'full profile' requirements, I suggest you contact admin and request the 3 free contacts.

Both of the bands I played with recently (as well as the last potential duo partner) contacted me because of my profile here, so this place CAN work.

Why are you always putting the site down Schmed? Have you learned nothing here, met nobody you enjoy blathering with, had no fun?

It's a ten minute stop every once in a while to see if anything amusing is going on. Hardly sucking the life of out of eager young hopefuls!

For many of us who use the search feature it's worth it's weight in gold.

if it is humility that's holding you back from playing live - for goodness sake - humility is not a musical quality. It's what you summon when choosing sports ware. Don't confuse common sense with humility either - it's common sense to respond wisely to criticism from other players and to even be grateful for it.

If you are dreadfully ugly or weigh 500 pounds - so what. Put a decent show together and it won't matter.

If it is stage fright? Drink! As much as you can shy of becoming awkward.
