So...I managed to get tickets to THEM CROOKED VULTURES.
Of course, when I say "get tickets", what I mean is that I ordered and paid for the tickets September 2nd - I don't actually have the tickets in my hand!
...and the gig's on Sunday...this Sunday!
The Vendor (crowdsurge.co.uk) are OK and have been helpful. They sent 'em out recorded delivery on the 24th November but the Royal Mail didn't leave me a "While you were out" card so I didn't know they'd tried to deliver (..as they say they have done).
Stephanie at Royal Mail Tracking was also very professional and helpful and has scheduled a re-delivery for Saturday (please arrive...touch wood, touch wood!!!).
It's a good job I checked too...
It must be a result of a number of unscrupulous people and/or ticket-touting that companies have to do this but CrowdSurge said,

So...my advice is that if you don't have your tickets at least a week before the show, check where they are to give yourself plenty of time to recover them no matter what the vendor's email says.
Did I mention that these tickets are also my Christmas gift to my sister and my brother-in-law?
I think I'll camp out on the front step and keep a look-out for the postman on Saturday.
