Just posted a new song(first one) called 'Cozumel'. Went on a cruise last year to Cozumel and thought I'd try to recapture that feeling when I was snorkeling and the white sand beach was in the distance as the breeze was floating around and the sun was shining. Might not be the best quality wise but through in hints of some spanish guitar in the strumming and such. Hope you like. :D

I'm not sure I would call this a "song." Not sure I would call the other material on your profile page "songs" either. I'm not hearing any completed "songs." You've got some good chops on all these "songs." What about lyrics, bass-lines, structure, verses, turnarounds, tight endings, hooks, stuff that "songs" are usually associated with. Maybe you're performing "songs" in a genre I'm not familiar with. You've got talent, I'm just hearing disorganization. You asked for feedback...

It's a rhythmic nightmare at the outset, between the rhythm guitar & the echoes. You should try using a click track or a metronome. All in all, it's a bit too free-form for my tastes, but it does get better as it goes. This is better than the last I heard from you, so you are improving. Keep at it.

You have the "stoner rock" sound going on. Yes, some of the erie effects work quite well I feel. Yet even in this genre' there has to be some sense of structure in order for the distortion of said structure to stand out.
Hummm, thats hard to explain.
Ah, an analogy perhaps.
An acid trip would not be a "trip" if not being compared to the normal orientation of the mind.
In the same way a distortion of space and sound is little more than confused noise without the underlying structure.

Thanks! I really appreciate the feedback. I posted another song that has more structure. Its me and a friend playing live, I'm attempting to play lead and keeping it 'bouncy' so it goes with the wacky lyrics, my friends on rhythm and vocals. I feel like I never play as well when I'm alone as to when I'm in a band or playing with other people, I guess I find it easier to 'feed' off the other players.

I'd like to hear what you could come up with while using less effect's. You obviously have the imagination to explore more and I believe you have the expression to do more with less.
